Lots of immigrants are Mexicans and we already work with the Mexican government in terms of policy and Mexico is a relatively stable, albeit corrupt, nation. Frankly, I think the issue with not trading with people is that the usually don't stop doing the thing we don't like, but rather use us as the figure for their national hatred. At least with trade we can encourage economic growth. Finally, I don't think that the issue is really one of refugees but rather job seekers, developed nations have a lot more/better opportunities than less developed nations so people in less developed nations who want to do well go to more developed nations.

As usual, Awesomely Glorious, I reject your premises as you usually reject mine. But I'm glad we agree that, in principle, individuals and their movement for the improvement of their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness should not be restricted by governments. In fact, my wife has been thinking about moving and I will probably have to follow her, since I put family before self. But I don't put government before self. I have to recognize, however, that governments now govern everywhere. So I hope our chosen destination has a liberal immigration policy.

why blame this on Mexicans?
didn't the Irish begged admission to Texas in the 19th century when Texas was part of Mexico and the potato famine was hurting ireland?
i know that the USA took the best and a great part of Mexico.

No wonder why Mexicans can legally work in Ireland.
been there, done that
100% Mexican
