They wear matte black skin tight suits, carefully brushed for lint. The gloves, hats and whatnot are colored and have phospors added. The scene is backed by more black cloth and the area is illuminated my "black" lights.

Phospors are added to laundry detergent to brighten clothing. This is an extreme example.

AWESOME! Some scenes in it reminded me of Tron for some reason. I <3ed the human creativity put into the demo.

That xplains SOME of it. Another 30% or so is probably editing, or CGI.

The flipping upside down? Ropes and assistants in black. Same with the pong ball.

There was a pepsi ad that did something similar with shadows behind people. I will see if i can find it.
