I just got a letter in the mail from my school inviting me to join Phi Theta Kappa "the international honor society for two year college students"


Im trying to decide is it worth it to join? i mean i dont want to put pressure on myself.

i mean you need to have mantained a 3.5 gpa and fuffilled at least 15 credits to be elgible to join

my GPA is 3.667

does anyone one know whether or not its worth it to join. Is anyone here in the organization that can tell me more about it?

I'm not but I'm in Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society Xi Chapter at Mason.

I am a Phi Theta Kappa!
The meetings were few and far between at my school, but I got the lapel pin and got to wear a gold stole when I graduated from my 4 year college.

When I went to a two year college I was part of Phi Theta Kappa. I believe I had a 3.7 GPA. I wish I had a 4.0 GPA instead because 3.7 isn't perfect. I graduated in 2005. I am now ancient at 25 years young. People think I look like 12 but I am 25. I never went to a university though, just the 2 year college.

(It's my last semester here, too. TRANSFER TIME)

Join by all means. You don't have to participate or anything. I never did.

I was in Mu Alpha Theta in high school, and Phi Beta Lambda in community college.
