Do you like those magazines that talk about Paris Hilton or something? I like them if they have quizzes.

Magazines are a cool invention. I just wish I could legally get a bigger, detachable one for my rifle. :x

My family never got any magazines when I was a kid, so when I first encountered one in a physician's office I was completely befuddled. I didn't know how to find any of the articles, and was not clear on whether or not I should be reading it cover to cover or a bit at a time.

I still have trouble with a lot of the "contents" page layouts, heh.

That having been said, the only magazine I actually read is "Scientific American: Mind." I like to look at "National Geographic" for the photographs, though.

I like some magazines. I cannot stand the gossipy/ social scene/ tabloid/ what star is doing what types. I tend to specialize in particular magazines and then collect all of those that I can find and keep them.

I hate gossip mags and give looks to anyone dumb enough to buy them. Reminds me of how much people are obsessed with people obsessed with themselves.

I do like science mags though. :D

I only read them if there is a really intersting article. I'm currently reading about that sucky Hilary Duff because she starved herself to thiness and she's going out with my baby Benji's brother joel. (LOL)

Yes. My monthly magazines consist of:

1. Scientific American

2. Scientific American Mind (well, this is a quarterly, not monthly)

3. Discover

4. Archeology (this one is every other month)

Magazines have always scared me--too chaotic, too "fluffy" (in most cases), too much soundbite-y stuff jumping out at me... I've always avoided them.
