I agree on this. He's not only bad for wussifying vampires, he's monstrous for making into a vampire the most Suey of all Mary Sues (Bella.)
Also the werewolf Jacob is no better, 'imprinting' on a half-vampire female baby and having it be his 'soul mate.' Ugh.

The most annoying video game character to me is Navi, for example: "HEY! LISTEN! HEY! LISTEN! HEY! LISTEN!"
