Yeah I was part of that, I just checked the thread, Atomsk has removed his flame and replaced it with 'I got trolled'

A shame, too, since his response was really good.

You know with Jesus not married, he kind of comes off as an aspie sort of like them monks who keep to themselves.

I read an article once on whether or not Asperegers was really that of a disorder or carries more of a culture baring. It described how monks and people who chose to live in the wilderness were seen as kind of iconic. This may have been an ideal job at the time for someone who lacked social skills and/or multi-tasking.

Just a thought.

Although a common symptom of AS is to want to have a social life.

True and yet some of us find it almost impossible to have one.

I would probably replace some with most, that is one of the cruel catches of AS, we want to be gregarious but are seriously lacking in the social skills to enable this wish.

I think that monks like other religious fanatics will turn out to have a missing/over active region of their brains

I am probably aspie. I like intelligent conversation with open minded people in groups of at most three or four. I cannot stand mass gatherings of people and I find parties so boring I almost always avoid them. Since I find no interest in drugs, liquor, smoking, television, sports, and many other social activities and delight in time spent by myself exploring whatever skills I have perhaps I am an untypical aspie.

The same origin as NTs have. We are all human.
