Our Ultimatium to Society
i can relate to the statements of the OP and why he/she sees it as one of the differences between aspies and NT's. It's a generalisation of course, just as this one : Aspies have an increased feeling for moral values. May be a cliché.
I cry a lot, when looking at or reading the daily news. I don't understand the egocentrism. I don't understand about status, or fighting for your right, or esteeming economical values higher then moral values. I don't understand that there is anyone in the world that does not cry when a world leaders speaks about a thing like the 'axis of evil'. I don't understand why anybody supports Israel (i'm not at all against jews in general and I'm not a Palestine or muslim). I don't understand why Iran having a nuclear weapon is considered a danger to the world, while other nations have like thousands of them. I don't understand that people can fight over religion, I don't understand why we need religion in the first place, or that there are people that 'believe' in a God. (I understand and support the moral values of most religions though).
It's so strange, all those things that seem to really mather to NT's. How come they are so 'stupid'? Or am I just stupid? I know I am considered naive by NT's. If they say that to me, I often think : you can't imagine how dumb/naive you are yourself, that you buy all that mainstream s**t, believing it makes you (look) better then anyone else.

There are tons of NT's out there who have the exact same opinion as you. It's not an Aspie vs. NT issue, it's the intelligent people vs. the stupid masses.
1.) Stop racism, sexism
2.) Stop living in a world of conventions, hierarchies and status
3.) Be willing to make your minds on things without others' interference
4.) Stop judging others on how much money they make
5.) Stop making us follow you're social trivalities, such as hair and clothes
6.) Stop looking for sympathy over stupid things, such as bad haircuts
7.) Stop obsessing over losing weight. Don't eat so much if it's a problem!
8.) Stop obsessing over age appearance. You will die, get over it
9.) Stop basing judgments on people by race and sex (eg Obama is the first African American president, Clinton is the first women secetarary)
10.) Learn to not judge people on their differences or according to your standards, but rather to theirs. This applies doubly if the person is from a different culture
11.) Everything is sex, drugs, celebrities, and rock and roll. Find something to relevant to discuss from time to time. Again, nothing against sex and rock and roll, but all the time?
12.) Stop preoccuping over irrelevant things such as Bill Clinton's affairs (as an extreme example)
you failed to include the fact that Aspies/Autistics do these things as well.
.....epic fail.

I think this is a battle for all people, not just neurotypicals; however, I do think Aspies are less apt to do all this, but I will say from time to time, I do worry about my beauty including age and weight. It's not usually the subject of my conversations, but one thing I learned from the neurotypical world is that I get away with a lot more of my strangeness as a beautiful woman than I did when I was a little more on the ugly side.
The things that really bother me about this world in general is the morality. Even hell doesn't scare people enough into doing the right thing a lot. It's just getting worse. Like abortions, nobody is supposedly pro abortion, yet a large group of people out there are pushing them more than the choice factor, including planned parenthood who was founded on "racial cleansing" ideals. The fact that a black president is pushing their agenda (which doesn't seem to deviate much from their original intentions) only mocks black people and all others Margaret Sanger (one of the founders of Planned Parenthood) deemed as "unfit." Do you know little kids are partaking in that sexting activity? Not to mention you got all these corporations that hire based on a popularity contest and treat the workplace like it's high school, and then they start failing and killing this economy, so when the government steps in to bail them out, they blow that money on stupid things. Do you think Enron changed accounting practices? I'm here to tell you that a wide variety of businesses still lie with their numbers. A guy at Walmart somewhere in New York was trampled to death by shoppers, who also must have pushed down a pregnant woman too, because they wanted flat screen TVs. How many kids do you see scurrying about at Christmas trying to decide what non-profit act of giving they intend to do? Christmas is no longer about giving but about getting, and only getting. There's a big difference between giving something to someone and getting something for them. If people had any ounce of moral fiber to them, then most of the things on your list wouldn't be there.
I do also really think the NT's biggest problem is that they just often lack substance. They can't find anything relevent to discuss because they just don't care about it. If it doesn't feed the greed or ego, it's not worth discussing.
Again, back to morality, the thing that really gets me is say something and do another (the hypocracy). Like, they want to hire people with disabilities because they think they are understanding of it all, but when the guy in the wheelchair can't place something on that top shelf, there's no excuse to him not getting his work done. My favorite one of all is the religous hypocracy. If you drink a beer, you are going to hell. The same guy that told you that can be found at the bar on Friday night crappy drunk ready to pass out in someone else's vomit. I love, being a veteran, getting cut off and almost wreck because someone is in a hurry driving, and then I see them with the "Support the Troops" sticker/magnet. How many companies out there support autism but won't hire an Aspie because that person didn't have good enough communication skills? Equal Opportunity Employer? Yeah right, if they got that on the job posting, they are 9 times out of 10 not going to be that. I'm going to start ripping off some of these magnets when I see people doing the opposite of what they advertise about themselves. Maybe I could sue for false advertisement.
I'm sure I got a lot more, but I'm starting to really rant, and I plan on putting up Christmas decorations today, so I don't want to be in a bad mood for it. I know many people on here say to give the NT's a chance and this anti NT thing is getting out of hand, but I just joined this place, and I never got my chance to complain about them. You are talking 30 years of pent up aggression to a group of people that I just discovered a name for it. But a word of advice, you can make that list for yourself, but anything beyond three items would exceed most NT's attention spans, unless you got humor, then you can do a Top Ten.
Ok, this is going to be the longest post ever, but it's goddam worth it.
it's sad, the mentality of people, ok, so if Gandhi said be the change you want to see in the world, well let's see
1.) I am hopefully still going out with my Malawian girlfriend
2.) I treat everyone absolutely the same. No Animal Farm tactics here
3.) I am very good at self-reliance
4.) I don't swear to god
5.) I really don't care
6.) I am generally very understanding and forgiving, but somethings people are silly
7.) Again, Americans eat so much, it's horrible
8.) Of course this goes against plastic surgery and the other professions, but enough
9.) It's annoying, that this still happens.
10.) Again, with my girlfriend, I try to see her from the Malawian point of view(which ironically is more culturally similiar to my values then most...)
11.) Most of my friends talk about world issues, religion, environmental issues, social issues, friends and family. All highly substantial conversations
12.) I don't give a damn if Mr. Zonqankhulu and Mr. Wiseolowsky are going out with each other on a park bench in the middle of New York City
Now, why can't others emulate this example? Again, I am not asking for the universe, the stars or the moon. I am not even asking to find leprachauns and angels. I am just trying so that people's hyprocrosy is shuffled out....
I don't know exactly what that had to do with me, but you just proved me right. I said it is something all people face, and you just gave examples on how you faced them. So your list isn't geared to NT's as much as all people.
The only thing I saw relevant to my post exactly was your next post said you were in favor of abortion in certain cases. See, I personally am very Pro Life, but I read about exactly what abortions are when I was pregnant with my first baby. It's like the suck cut on Wayne's World. Well, that's what abortions do. It sucks and it cuts. I just believe it sure does suck. But, knowing that many people on here may very well be Pro Choice for whatever reasons, I wasn't trying to insult them. My post was directly geared to those Pro Choicers that claim they are not Pro Abortion (nobody is pro abortion is the argument I get from them), but they don't want to do anything to prevent unwanted pregnancies as much as increase abortion rights. That's hypocritical. Even worse is Planned Parenthood. That's who I specifically had in mind when I made my last post more so than one guy's opinion. I'm more concerned right now about the President's opinion and his goal to sign FOCA which is totally backed by Planned Parenthood who is found on "racial cleansing" purposes. So to have a black president sign off on their act just makes it all the more messed up. I was going to sum up the story on Planned Parenthood, but just read it.
In fact, ALL PEOPLE SHOULD BE READING THIS FIRST LINK TO BE AWARE OF THE DECEPTION IN THIS WORLD.
