Hey Maria! It's so much fun to see when you upload a picture here. It's obvious that you're improving really fast, and your imagination is really interesting.

Here's my latest painting. I pretty much only paint stuff that makes me happy and harmonious.

Incomplete. Progress is waaaay slower than it should be. Zzz...

Don't worry, she'll get clothes. I just do up the basic form so I know where the folds should fall when I add them in.

Here is drawing I made yesterday, which is a 1980's-style piece of abstract art:

I used to like drawing in my early teenage years but have lost interest almost completely since. Mostly because I get anxious from thinking about it, then I get anxious that I can't draw because I get anxious about it. Been like that for a decade, so don't think I'll see any change soon ... anyway, here are some drawings I managed to do when I could keep the anxiety at bay.

I'm glad you like them. :)

They were made during a period of severe mental illness (schizophrenia spectrum), which I've been able to partially but not wholly recover from. Because I drew these under intense psychosomatic pain (twisting with anxiety), I grew phobic of drawing and almost entirely stay away from it these days. I'm afraid getting back into it again will produce another psychotic episode ... probably unfounded, but anxiety is rarely grounded in rational reasons.

Here are some more.

Thank you.

I might post some more later. I would really wish to one day be able to get back into it again, but I think taking a long break is necessary. Drawing and making art should be something you enjoy, not fear, especially if it's not your job but just a hobby. Anyway, thanks again!
