By my thirties: 8. Was not in love with any of them. All were initiated by the other party. Two were once-off occasions.

What, that you might get braces linked, or take a tooth to the lip? At worst you could catch a cold?

I mean, it's not like sex where you can contract a deadly STD or something that pops up sores all over your privates (though you can prevent the majority of that too by wearing a condom but anyway...)

My point is there really is nothing to be afraid of with kissing. The dangers are pretty similar to that of holding hands. Yeah you might hear of freak cases, but you're more likely to get shot at random than be one of those people.

Is it true that you can get mono from kissing, or is that just an urban legend?

Kissing (as in proper kissing) still looks as strange to me as it did when I was ten years old. Can't help but think I'll find the experience bizarre if it happens.

I won't have a "kissing partner" because I'm too afraid of making that into something else, or of them making that into something else. Also, it seems like a bit of a kiddie thing to do at my age.

Eight. first kiss was in 1983 and I was...11. last kiss was 2000 and I was 28. I don't know about you, but reading that just depressed the hell out of me.

If were counting cheeks and forehead, I've kissed 2 people. Kissed no one on the lips though!
One was a good friend of mine on the last day and everybody was saying bye and all that stuff, when I seen her and hugged her, I kissed her on the forehead.
Other one was a girl I really liked, kissed her a few times but she never seen me in the same way and it caused the end of our friendship as well
2 people have kissed me on the cheek as well. 1 was a person I really hated because she pissed me off all the time. The other is one of my best friends who before she got a bf always used to give me a kiss on the cheek everytime she hugged me. (She's kissed me on the hand once as well if that counts).
All of this has happened since I was 14. I'm 17 now.
But in terms of kisses on the lips I've had none!
