My very first day of student teaching was yesterday and I was a big hit. Many of the students liked me and suggested classes I should teach instead of other teachers. And some talk to me all homeroom about math and psychology and biology and everything else under the sun. And even one female student walked me out to my car to keep talking about cryptography and human anatomy and mathematical biology.

2 days down and hopefully everyone likes me enough to hire me.

And I think it won't be hard because I am supposed to write a 1-3 week lesson plan and I am working on my 3rd chapter lesson plan (so 3rd 3 week+ lesson plan), one for integrals, one for trigonometry and one for exponential/logarithmic functions.

The weird part is that a student tried to hug me. And I managed to stop him and I told him that it was inappropriate because I am a teacher and not a student. Course it is easy to mistake that as I look 16. I still thought randomly hugging people you don't know is weird, particularly if they are of the opposite gender and your teacher. Maybe he was just messing with my head.
