Of course, in the section about the military, they do fail to mention that married servicemembers get Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) because they don't have the option of living in the barracks rent-free and eating at the chow hall every meal. When I was single and in the Air Force, my entire paycheck was discretionary income...
