Do you know about any characters in movies or series who show Aspergian traits?

I read an article once that said there are 6 characters who could fit the diagnosis of AS in Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

My past nurse practitioner said that the pair on "Flight of the Conchords" seem to have AS.

Daria, the cartoon character, seems to have AS.

I would go so far as to say at least one of them is neuro-diverse, perhaps merely dyspraxia, but quite plausibly an ASD.

Yes, there is a movie I saw recently, I think it was Chinese, about an autistic girl (about 10-14 years old) who learns superhuman fighting skills by observing TV and the kickboxing school next door. Her mom is a retired gangster who used to lend money, but is now having health problems. So the kid and her brother go out and try to collect the debts from some bad guys. She kicks some butt and gets the money for her mom's chemotherapy. I forget the name of it now, but I will search my files when I get home.

I believe you're referring to the film 'Chocolate'.

One character had on Boston Legal had AS, he happened to date another woman with AS, but had some attachment to an inanimate object. Daria also comes to mind, though she kind of struck me as being more PDD-NOS. Shane Botwin from Weeds during the first 3 seasons...the fact that he had some sort of obsession with Pittsburgh made me wonder if he could have AS.

Possibly, though some of his regenerations were more NT-ish than others.

I think the Cybermen are Aspies. Mostly logical and unemotional, and we have "meltdowns" when our emotional inhibitors fail. Many of us are into technology, and many of us are allergic to certain things.
