Well, I used to, when I was younger. I studied Japanese Karate (Shotokan) and achieved a black belt level. I'd like to get back into it sometime.

I study Aikido when my budget allows it. And I would like to learn Judo, so I can flip over Vladimir Putin. I am a big fan of "soft" martial arts that are more defensive than offensive.

I love Tai Chi. It runs in my blood. Whenever I do Tai Chi, I feel perfect and my life is perfect and nothing else matters.

There are 2 things that make me the happiest I've ever been in my life: the Pacific Ocean and Tai Chi. Well also Hawaii but I was only there once for a short time...

wado ryu karate, judo, taekwondo, kickboxing, wing chun kung fu and boxing. since i was 9.
only time i've been relaxed and mind-quiet(?)
i used bagwork and practised form (for hours lol) as moving meditation.
i havent trained in 4 years and last week bought a new punchbag. my knuckles are still swollen but the endorphin hit and surge of self confidence was, and is, well worth it!

I held a green belt in tung soo do long time ago.

Besides that, I am learning some of many other disciplines like:
krav maga, judo, jiu jitsu, tae kwon do, kung fu, shaolin, muai thai, savate, pankration, eskirma, boxing and some wrestling grappling holds.

baliog polami, rear naked choke hold and the calf crush are some of my favorite moves.

I need to get back to do some training to keep myself busy.

Once I get some health insurance and/or soft contact lenses (can't see jack without corrective lenses), I am planning on joining a judo club here where I live.

I took karate when I was little cuz I was getting bullied alot but I wasn't very good at it. I made it to 2nd stripe on my blue belt but failed the test to advance. I continued classes for alittle while after before I really wanted to quit. The moves didn't come natural to me & I wasn't strong enough so I couldn't defend myself when I was getting bullied. I knew the moves in class but coudln't think of em fast enough in the heat of the moment. I was also overwhelmed from being at skewl & having alot of homework to do & really needed the extra time at home.

Judo, jujitsu, boxing, a little karate and some MMA to round it off.
I was actually the state champion in Judo and was invited to the national championships. I didn't go because it was too far from home and I didn't (and still don't) feel comfortable going that far away.
The guy who won was someone I beat in the state championships so I think I would have donw rather well if I had gone.
