We got our first Snow Fall in Vancouver last Thursday. The cold Waether is going to stay around for a while. Our local forecast calls for more Snow. I don't mind the snow. In fact, I love it when it snows, because I know that it pisses off the rest of the people in my family.

Okay, it's 18 degrees F here currently. However, with wind chilling at 10mph, it is -20. This is in eastern Washington State in the US, next to the Idaho panhandle.

My husband's grandfather was a Commander in the Navy and my husband inherited a lot of his barometric equipment, temp equipment and navigation (using the stars). I love it! I watch the barometer/temp/humidity thing all day long. I know it's accurate, b/c its information matches what my satellite says.

Tallgirl.

I'm only obsessed with extreme weather and cloud formations.

Tornadoes are my wildest dream and (literally) my worst nightmare.

I find weather to be quite fascinating and how it can go from really calm to really violent. I really like it when you get documentaries on about weather, showing you the most amazing thunderstorms or tornadoes, hurricanes etc. I am awed by nature and how strong it can be. Anything to do with nature and science kinda floats my boat.

I don't like the summer because it's too hot, and humid. I realize now that it's in the heat with really stale air all I get itchy. I don't like the winter because it's too cold, and I hate snow. Big storms with lightning are kinda unnerving. I like the spring and fall.

When I was young I sort of rooted for the big hurricanes, and tornadoes so that I could watch the "breaking news" coverage on TV. I don't do that anymore.

In Montana the weather could be sunny for days and rain and snow.

Above is the link to my weather page. Just updated. I do have a Stevenson Screen set in my backyard. The highest temperature I ever recorded was 43.1degC (110degF) on the 31st Dec 2005.
I am too especially obsessed with extreme temperature.
It is the last day of winter here, so I cannot expect anything close to that for a few months yet

I told my mom it wasn't hot anymore, 90 degrees and she freaked. It's 89 degrees, "feels like (heat index) 90 right now at 8:53pm MST.
Cloudy, muggy, possible thunderstorms-probably not.

It's supposed to be hot here again next week but cold at night in the 40's.
