Yes, I played with dolls when I was a kid. I was pretty imaginative and I loved playing with my doll house when I was little. I too had stuffed animals, my favorite of which was Ernie (like the one off of Sesame Street). He was pretty awesome lol.

I liked my Bert and Ernie dolls; I forgot about that. I also had tigers, raccoons, rag dolls, a water baby, a dolphin, etc. and I played with them all together.

I had a dark brown doll when i was really young and liked it because it was not the same as most dolls.I used to like soft toys that looked like real animals more i collected them.

Yep, I loved barbies, and I still do (despite that fact I'm 15) because I love making stories, and dolls are good to do that with :D

I am sorry... I am a guy... but you must admit from a scientific view dolls/figurines are a great imagination projection surface allowing an endless projection spectrum.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

i HATED dolls.they smelt weird and were just plain creepy.

i had more stuffed animals then dolls, and more imaginary friends then stuffed animals.

five in particular were the "other brothers"

four hockey guys and one goalie.

the goalie was from the Boston bruins and the others were from the canadiens.

they lived n side an easter egg and most of the time only there (very weird-looking) hands showed...

O-O

purdy crazy,eh?

Just a few, but really more action dolls.

I am a twin and when very young I learn to walk before my twin brother. One of the first things I did with take all his "boy toys" away from him to play with myself and gave him just my dolls. Found the trucks etc much more fun.

Maybe we like toys that do more, as we can lack some imagination in playing when young, or is it that we just get bored easily - dolls never use to do much!

I cannot fathom the idea of destroying my own toys! I never liked dolls...but had a lot of stuffed animals that were so very precious to me.
(Except when I was three years old and carried my doll Audrey around everywhere and drew on her face with the violet-red crayon.)

No, I played with toy cars and had an attachment to a stuffed toy Siamese cat. I was a cat person from the start.

Yes, all the time. Up until age 13 or so.

With Barbies it was always quite the event; my best friend and I would spend an hour planning everything, like names and outfits and family histories, who lives where..

Before that I've always played with stuffed animals. Actually I just talked to them, didn't play with them really.
Beanie babies I played with a lot though; each of them had a history etc. I filmed little soap operas on the video camera.. one I remember was about the ostrich, who was having trouble coming to terms with being gay. he tried to commit suicide, then his sister staged an intervention and they held a seance contacting their dead brother (the platypus) or something. And songs were sang. (which I played along with on my keyboard piano) The platypus was always very charismatic.

I did play with dolls, but I was more into toys of animals (like Lisa Frank, Littlest Pet Shop, cartoon character toys, that kind of stuff). I pretty much outgrew toys when I was twelve. So if it doesn't have to do with an obsession of mine, I'll probably have nothing to do with it nowadays.

Yes, I did.
I made a house for my dolls.
I named them and treasured them like my own child.
