perhaps I could also make a picture of men in suits with the name "Autism Speaks" on them restraining and gagging a well built fellow with the name "Autistic Community" on it (perhaps we could use the little green alien as the basis... possibly), while Robert Wright says: "It's time to listen... bec...

That sounds like a rather interesting and original idea. Service Dogs for autistic kids could be a possibility. I could mention that to the sorority. What about Wrongplanet as well? Perhaps the money could go towards advertising the website so that parents and those the spectrum can talk with us for...

Does anyone know of any ethical charities to donate to? A sorority on campus has begun to support Autism Speaks, and has even hung a poster in the student union building. Even looking at that thing makes me grit my teeth in rage. The fact that Autism Speaks has stepped onto my home turf makes me fee...

I'm all for people being what ever they want to be. If you don't want to be an Aspie or autistic person, fine. If you want to be, welcome to the club. If you want to be a carrot, go for it. I'm hesitatant though. I fear that if there is a cure, society will put pressure on autistic people and their ...

I am left wing. While I believe that one could be ecnomically on the right, socially, it wouldn't make sense to some degree. Human rights is one of my biggest concerns. I support Gay marriage, undocumented immigrant rights, pro choice, planned parenting and teaching sex education around that, etc. H...

that crazy story has nothing to do with pot. Serotonin syndrome from the clash of anesthisia and sleeping pills caused that. Pot does not make you halucinate, and if you think it does, you are probably on something else.

My ex has referred to me as a "beast" and a "sex machine" in bed. I'm not trying to brag, I'm making the point that sexual contact is different from things like hugs and stuff. Ironically, a most likely neurotypical girl was quite awkward in bed. I would do everything I could to advance the bases, a...

The farthest I have gone is pot... and that time that i suffered from seratonin syndrome after my surgery, and that was enough. I watched floating words go by ("Magic Pulon (whatever the hell that is), and the Kool-Aid symbol twice (the Kool-Aid corporation owes me money for advertisement). I Saw fl...

Well well well, look what just rolled up my alley. I lived in Thailand for a month. I spent a great amount of time in Bangkok and Krabi. I miss Thailand so much. The people there are masterful at smiling, so they'll teach you how to smile like the pros. intolerance and bullies are not really a probl...

I'm alone right now. I don't like parties very often because I find them to be too impersonal. I value a few close friends over a thousand associates. Sometimes being alone is awesome, it allows me to clear my mind and be in my own little world. But I'll never turn down the opportunity to hang with ...

learn them when you are young. Have your children learn them when they are young. They will help you tremendously. People don't even know that I am an aspie. I make full eye contact, pick up on body language, pick up on tones, and can pick up on sarcasm easily at the same rate as neurotypicals can. ...

I must say, I do this too. I basically worship former Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley. Then again, what happened was that his voice is so unique and powerful, and his lyrics talk about being the underdog, standing your ground, standing up for what you believe in, even when it feels as if the whole w...

I wish so sincerely that I could help in some way. If any young aspies are reading this right now and are thinking about going in...
