Would you rather pay child support to an ex for years? That often happens, as not all marriages last. One of my high school classmates had five kids with his now ex-wife before she filed for divorce out of the blue. He had to work additional jobs just to be able to afford to live in his semi truck. ... |

Thiomersal is used in vaccines as an anti-bacterial/anti-microbrial ingredient. Bacteria growth often spoil unprotected vaccines, especially when they are not refrigerated properly. Without this ingredient, the vaccines would have a much shorter usable shelf life, even if they are properly stored i... |

One of my former research advisers personally knew the well-known professor who died while working with dimethyl mercury in the 1990s. She became part of the knowledge base of the compound. She made the mistake of reusing her latex gloves. Is this her case, in New Hampshire? https://www.youtube.com... |

I personally embrace RFK Jr's skepticism as well, even if I'm not a fan of Trump. The why is simple; there are many things about the vaccine industry that is very suspicious and potentially dangerous to the average human. First and foremost is the very nature of the health care industry as a whole.... |

She was a good actress and was nominated for an academy award. I enjoyed her in Young Frankenstein. It is sad to see her go. R.I.P. |

You have to weigh how your output is valued. If a job requires way too much output for the amount you get, it is time to find a different job or even career. I have had to leave jobs because I was not valued correctly. My former coworkers to one job could not understand why I left to go to another s... |

I have been approached by women in the past. Unfortunately they did not realize that I have a terrible time in reading flirting cues, so I just talked to them. Usually they got bored with me and would find another to go after. I even got kidded by my friends in grad school on how blind at the game I... |

My Kansas roots show a bit in my answer: hot beef sandwiche, bierocks (called runzas in Nebraska), red beef chili with beans, chicken fried steak, fried mushrooms with sour cream ranch dip. When I happen to be in Nebraska: Valentino’s meat-sauce covered pasta with a generous helping of their cheese ... |

(Addressing the room, and not any one single person, as this is a broad issue which many people seem to experience) I mean, that's generally how that works - regardless of one's intent, if you do something wrong, you get the wrong result. Which brings me back to a previous point - if y'all are so a... |

I don't have the courage to take my own life so I have to keep trudging along, but I would give anything not to have to do it. My greatest wish is not having existed at all. I am quite familiar with that wish, as I sought a solution for that one for many years of my life. Unfortunately it is someth... |

It is funny you mention that point. I have personally seen the downfall of professors. Thirty years ago professors had both financial security and respect. Then administrations started replacing professors with part time adjunct instructors to save money. Tenure started to disappear so administrati... |

I think that class in the US is a much bigger factor than is acknowledged out in the open. Social injustice is largely based in class differences and specifically economic differences. Our society has somewhat fudged and obfuscated the issue by creating the perception that class is more social than... |

A comment on history: WWI is known as the chemist’s war for a reason. One side started and the other followed. Both sides were guilty of such acts. The net result was humanity learned newer ways to destroy each other via chemicals/biologicals. Biological warfare was conducted during this time, but ... |
