There is no evidence to support your statement that autistic men tend to be misogynist any more than men without autism. |

I don’t think that occurrence of autism has increased over the past years. It’s just that people are more open to the idea of accepting that their kid might be autistic. I once talked to the director of a top school for kids with autism (Rebecca School) |

I wouldn’t call autism a disease. Rather it can be defined as a disability. Which is why there are special schools and amenities for helping people cope with their disability. |

Hey, this was interesting! Thanks for posting. I guess I’ll get my daughter to take these two. She attends a school for children with autism (the Rebbeca School in Manhattaan) but she hardly seems to be any different from the other kids. I feel that she’s quite perceptive; a quality said to be non-e... |

Hey, that was a really touching video! People on the autistic spectrum are not indifferent, they are merely unable to tap into the imaginary realms of other people’s minds. And sometimes, I feel, that they are better for it because all we ever have is a ‘perception’ of other people’s mental states. ... |

First of all, I’d like you to take a deep breath and calm down. Autism is not a disease that will thwart the quality of your life. In fact, more than anything else, you’d probably be amazed by the various ways in which being on the autism spectrum can offer you a unique perspective into the various ... |

My son has dyspraxia-which, as the people connected to this forum would probably know- is difficulty in motor control. These garments seem like a cool way of helping monitor his posture and balance. Rebecca School students (where he studies) would probably be ecstatic if their sports department got ... |

It's not entirely necessary for Aspies to be paranoid. However, there is always a bit uneasiness around strange places and people. If your brother is school going then I'd recommend you to enroll him in schools like Rebecca in New York. |

Going to a specialized can be a nightmare. But as I have personally seen, it can be a boon too. A friend's kid went to one such in New York (Rebecca School) and he says he has never been this happy at school ever in his life. |

I know a friend's kid with almost the same characteristics. He later enrolled into a school in New York (Rebecca School) and seems to be the happiest ever in his life. |

I'd really suggest you to quit online school and try enrolling in a school specialized to deal with kids suffering from Asperger's. I don't know where you live but if you are around New York, then I can suggest some pretty good schools such as Rebecca School (one of the best). They have a completely... |

I can totally understand your feelings towards how you feel you were treated in the school. But majority of that is because of the school system that you were in. There are many schools which teat kids in a better way. I personally know of one (Rebecca School) in New York. They have a completely foc... |

There is one very good school in New York for kids with ASD and Asperger's. It goes by the name of Rebecca School and I've heard some great things about it. All the best |

A friend's kid suffers from ASD. Initially he had a lot of trouble but then he moved to New York and got his kid enrolled in Rebecca School and it has been a smooth sailing ever since. I'd highly recommend to check their program. |
