I tend to lean towards a psychologist, but probably it's very much dependent on your own circumstances and preferences. I've only seen one psychiatrist and didn't like what he had to say at the time, but in retrospect what he said was completely accurate. What I will say is that it's worth doing you...

I just read some of the Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder post and thought it might be useful for other if I share my story. I'm 43 years old now and ever since I came back from military service as an 18yo boy, I've had terrible insomnia. It would take me 2-3 hours to fall asleep, if I fell asleep at all...

I had forgotten why I stopped taking Zoloft. but yeah, my wife wasn't happy with the lack for sex drive and I wasn't happy with the lethargy.

I took it for a good few months and it certainly helped with my anxiety, stopped panic attacks and I think even dropped my blood pressure.

Hi all, Just thought I'd introduce myself. I don't think I have been "formally diagnosed", but a few years ago a psychiatrist told me that I have some OCD tendencies and an anxiety disorder and put me on anti-anxiety meds (Zoloft), but then I changed countries after only seeing him 2 times...
