I find, as some have posted, that drinking makes me more talkative, social - more NT-like - and also "de-sensitizes" me to a point where I am more relaxed and not so overstimulated. Plus when with other people drinking, if I say or do something weird, they usually then just laugh thinking I'm funny ...

I wash and blowdry mine, though do little else. I *hate* hair and hate to fool with it. Whenever I go in for a cut, I always tell them to do whatever as long as I can "wash and wear" it with no styling involved. However, I *hate* going to the hair salons almost as much as a can't stand fooling with ...

While I cannot personally attest that all of these are factual (and am not disupting they are not either), I do know that several are true and well documented. The experiment mentioned that injected syphilis into black males that were not given treatment (which was readily available) to see what wou...

I have the same problem. If there are many noises at once or many people are talking at once in a close area, I start to feel very stressed and find myself jumping back and forth between the different noises or conversations and can't focus on one. It's very frustrating and confusing, and I can't sh...

wsmac: Maybe u are taking this thread too seriously? I am actually extremely tolerant of those different from me. In fact, usually WAY too tolerant to a degree I've never found anyone give me back. And usually when people make small talk, I recognize their need for it and reply pleasantly even if an...
