I have a curve as well. S shaped I believe? I tried to ride with SPD's and after two years of knee pain I gave up and went back to toe clips and straps. I always did ride at an odd angle! :D I did not know that physiopherapy can do anything to it? I think it's more for the balance and coordination....

My (s) daughter was with me. Of course the sod's law that you won't appear as bad as you can be at home occurred. Fluctuating condition!? I could be referred for X-rays, but not much might be done as a result of having them done. I got the impression that more would be done if I was younger. I decid...

Was looking quite yellow this morning. Managed to go this afternoon. Facial colour is back to normal. You looked yellow? Are you possibly having issues with your liver or something related to it? The liver produces a lot of enzymes and stuff that help people digest food, and you can get constipated...

Fairly recently my (s) daughter made an appointment for me to see someone about it. She came with me, and helped to explain things. The advanced nurse practitioner said my physical health issues had been overlooked. That's par for the course if you have a SMI. She mentioned referring me to the neuro...

My physical health isn't terrible, but also it's far from A1. I have chronic lower backache which kicks in after walking a short distance, and if I stand up too long. I usually wake up with backache and sometimes hip pain. The hip pain feels like it might be due to inflammation. I've got an appointm...

It looks like Laxido is the same thing I take (polyethylene glycol). Are you drinking enough water? It draws water into the intestines and if you don't drink enough water throughout the day it won't work. It also can take 12 hours to work. My wee has been rather dark. I'm prone to being mildly dehy...

Re earlier posts about the 'World genius directory'. The owner of the site has openly admitted that his WIT, WITT,WITTY tests have multiple correct answers per question. He subjectively rates which are the most correct answers . He's also more than willing to have scores listed from tests he actuall...

^ ^^ Thanks, both of you. I'm seeing this as being down to reduced physical resources rather than reduced cognitive/mental health resources. I freely admit I might be wrong in doing so. There's quite a few things I struggle with in a non physical way, but my physical issues can be reduced down to ch...

I've come across plenty of people talking about 'spoons' in terms of disability, but have never been able to apply it to my own situation. Is there a simple formula to work out how many 'spoons' you have , and how many you've used up for the day?
