Hey all, apparently I was misdiagnosed with AS...the new diagnoses is PTSD from childhood trauma, which apparently explains my symptoms and behavior more succinctly. Kinda puts a funny spin on my concept of identity, but oh well. I just wanted to thank everyone here for their kindness over the past ...

You are making an ass of yourself, and potentially harming others.

Thank you.

Whoa! Cool! I worked at a summer camp as a windsurf instructor. During lunch, there was a thunderstorm, and then the sky went black. Uh oh, tornado. Well, as the windsurf instructor, my first thought was, "Oh shoot, the boards aren't tied up!" I went down to the lake, and got most of them up, but co...

Or do they know only about your subsequent behavior? If they know what happened that triggered your behavior then, it could be very helpful to you n...

This is probably going to be a case of too much information. I'm sorry, but I really need help. I'm 22, and have been in several abusive relationships. I struggled with an eating disorder for 3 years, and have always been self-injurious. I also have non-epileptic psychogenic seizures, often brought ...

For example: The word "Atheist". In vernacular, everyday speech, most people interpret the word to refer to a person who believes that there is no god (i.e. a belief, or assertion, of a negative), whereas almost every writer, philosopher, etc. who calls him/her self an "Atheist", actually holds clo...

Hello!
