My question for people here is about prescription drugs, and people who take them. I would like to know what prescription drugs people take, and what they take them for, and what dosage and length of time they have been taking them. I currently take two antidepressants. Wellbutrin 300mg for 21 mont...

Have you tried taking online self-tests? Here are the two that I recommend: http://www.aspietests.org/raads/ http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php I recommend taking both, if you have time. I am neurotypical and have my own scores saved if you need someone to compare to. I think the Aspie Quiz is ...

I had this experience of selectively talking peaking at the age of 9. At school, I would only sit on my chair the whole time not unless there's a necessity for me to leave and use the comfort room. Whenever other kids would talk to me I'd just respond with a nod or a faint yes or no one question one...

For me, having an Aspie Dx would probably not just a label or mere scapegoat. But rather, yeah, to somehow make me understand that of all of those deficiencies I have, there is this name you call it and that I no longer have to hate myself or anyone and anything for all of those. My advice is don't...

First of all remember, "you can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself". Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyways, obviously you feel like you operate differently from the norm, so it doesn't seem too far fetched to say you're wired differently. Might be autism, might be something else, ...

If you are posting this because of what I said in your last thread , I wasn't trying to imply that you were not an Aspie , just don't pin all your hopes on it being the answer to all your questions. :D No. It's not in anyway because of your post. I have previous threads about my self suspicion. Cur...

Some of us can relate and some others of us can imagine and are there with you. Talk to us here, though ignore the haters. :) Ask your psychiatrist what he has to say, if he's made up his mind yet. Tell him your symptoms if he doesn't know, and if you trust him to deal with that information appripr...

I've attempted suicide a year from now. I've got this heavy tension inside my chest, some sort of a fire about to ignite but refuses to. I'm a suspected Aspie. I've got diff sorts of Diagnoses but non of which is ASD, well, not that I know completely what my Psychiatrist has to say. I've got this de...

I always hate myself for being such a different speck of snowflake. I hate how clumsy I am. I hate how much stupid I am in terms of social cues. I hate how I am different among my group because they always tell me that I needed to improve. I always do my best to improve but it seems that I'm still a...

I think I come off as standoffish a lot of the time. My social anxiety holds me back from speaking out more, and also I am slow to think of a response to jokes, other than laugh. Also I tend to mumble or speak quietly, and I speak in an unclear cockney slur, although I'm rather country. I am on the...

Hi guys. I was told by a psychic that my inner color is beautiful. I asked what is it particularly but she just said as it is.
