I used to be depressed too. Most of the time now, I am happy. So, it is possible to reach a point where there is enjoyment in every day. I'm not saying this to rub your nose in your troubles, but just to let you know things can get better.

I'm not the world's most sociable person, but what has felt bad to me about leaving a job was losing contact with people I knew well, and feeling a part of a team, instigator of parties, mutual griper about bosses, etc. Still, I never felt so bad that I cried about it!
