Your grandparents can just ignore the notices. The only recourse the time share company has is to repossess the share. Arguably your grandparents might take a hit to their credit rating, but they might not. My husband and his late first wife had a timeshare, which due to advancing age we no longer u...

Hello, Claradoon! Long time, no see! It's good to see you again. I wonder if you could discuss this with your primary doc. In view of the great expense, also the time, to re-evaluate and re-diagnose, it would make sense for both you and the health system to use the earlier diagnosis as it maps onto ...

I'm sorry, sweetleaf. My husband is declining in a nursing home, and my two cats mean the world to me with their funny behavior and their affection. Cats are very healing, for those who know how to interact with them.

Drink some gatorade or pedialyte - beverages that restore electrolytes. You will probably feel better.

I once had a bad sore throat on a vacation. It happens. You can't predict in advance that your health will be fine on a certain date.

My husband's Alzheimer's doctor said the single best type of brain exercise is socializing. So it might not be the personality trait of extroversion protects against cognitive decline, but the tendency to have more socializing is the secret medicine. If so, you can still be good if you force your in...

Acronym that helps you predict who will do well in psychotherapy: Y.A.V.I.S.

Stands for young, attractive, verbal, intelligent, and successful.

Seems kinda unfair. These people will do well in everything.

When I was a child (like before age 12), I had constant memory problems. Namely, forgetting what I ate at breakfast that day, or forgetting what I wanted to say just minutes ago. Which made my parents always angry with me. Being a curious, knowledge-seeking aspie, and wanting to keep earning their ...

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time, Kitty. We have had a lot of dark, gray days the past week, but every time the sun peeks through it pleases me very much. Are you opening your drapes or shades to get sunshine? A lot of times people develop Vitamin D deficiency if they don't go out much. Nex...

I understand well trained "emotional support" animals can sense when their human is about to have an anxiety attack, or in other cases a seizure, go over to the human and sit near them, calming the human. I find this absolutely remarkable.

Sorry you are struggling, but it seems the worst symptoms are mental ones, cabin fever, etc. You'll be ok. Call Amazon's customer service, in a patient tone of voice explain what happened to you and why you need home delivery, as well as EBT recharge or just send you the order again and agree they c...

I've had deep scaling before and it wasn't that bad. Call around to several places for a quote, and ask if they have a payment plan. Letting your teeth go 4 years without a dental visit is a bad idea. If you get your teeth done regularly, it isn't too traumatic. Also, it helps to know the staff by n...
