Then the obvious solution is to refuse to apologize. His supporters will like him even more with further proof that he won't yield to "political correctness". This is something you just don't joke about because society's impulse toward eugenics is too natural and held back by too little. ... |

I don't think anyone is disputing that far more black Americans are killed in black on black violence, but the whole point of Black Lives Matter is that no one should have to fear the police. And clearly, black Americans do have reasonable fear of the police. And the fact that the police treat blac... |

@kraftiekortie You are quite right about the police however I stand by my point regarding KKK and related violence. It doesn't pose a threat to white people so it hasn't become a national priority or topic of political debate the way an act carried out by professed jihadists, such as San Bernardino... |

The material world including culture is a function of objective forces. I see this everyday on my trading charts and it is, frankly, intriguing. That said, the take away from this for me is that the world is as it is and whilst I may not have the biggest circle of connections, I am less inclined to ... |

I am basically reaching the point where I say as little as possible. Its a waste of time. The only solution as I see it is for those who can, to get on with things and leave the others to do as they will as do they will. Some of these efforts are good admittedly but generally, this issue will be con... |

gebel Can you put that in simple English for a foreigner. So what you are saying is that there was white flight, the boundaries were redrawn, then they tarted up the place for white return thus driving out the poor, non whites, and lets not forget people such as us often unemployed, out of the city ... |

Janet Adkins and her buddies drew up a district that was designed to turn the voting black population into an even smaller minority than it already is. Her gerrymandering is intended to keep black people from voting. This is a deliberate act, by members of government, to benefit white voters at the... |

I think that the main misconception that a sizable number of people have us that libertarianism and socialism are mutually exclusive. There is actually a range of thought that is libertarian socialist. Socialism does not have to necessarily involve a state. A co-operative enterprise is also an exam... |

@ Norny Call it what you like. Why "pasta" will do. The consistent pattern however is that we get grief for hobbling off centre or slopping over our soup or not knowing the secret hand shakes and that is the issue. There is this group of persons all across humanity experiencing these outco... |

The label is merely NT shorthand for a variety of states ranging from elevated consciousness to those who are vulnerable and in need of support. There is no simple answer and simply labelling someone Aspergers means nothing other than there is something underway in this person. However, in meeting a... |

I think it is because of my views that deemphasize autism as a coherent identity that makes me unable to plug into neurodiversity ways of thinking. Yeah, well thinking outside the box has opened up a whole new universe for me. I see and analyse everything at a level that astounds me. Of course, eve... |
