I used to work with a man in his 30s who can't drive. He's married with a child. Not everyone drives. With regards to learning to drive, do you not have driving instructors in the USA? I looked in the phonebook and called up a driving instructor and booked a block of lessons. That's how I learned t...

What someone who was truly pro-abortion would say: "Forget condoms. Forget birth control. If you get (someone) pregnant just get an abortion/encourage the person you got pregnant to get an abortion." Never known someone who truly said they were pro-abortion. Yeah I don't know who would ac...

I don't but I wish I could. It's depressing bc I'm essentially useless without it..tired of bumming rides from coworkers all the time when my mom can't. I find the bus confusing and it takes too long to get home with it so that isn't even an option. Ironically I took driver's ed as soon as I was leg...

Some people (who don't even work at our company sometimes) have told me that at work. It's even more infuriating considering the fact I'm not happy. What is there to be happy about? Okay I have a job sure but it's certainly not one I wanted at all and it pays maybe only slightly above minimum wage. ...

Yes they usually say that because it's not something that is of the norm. I get that but it's still not right to assume I'm like everyone else. One example I'm willing to share is my stance on allopathic medicine. I know that it causes me problems and I've gotten people implying I'm making it up or ...

I was unemployed for 6 years out of college. Now I have one and I'm still not happy because I know I only took this job because no one else would hire me. We were both desperate..they would take anybody and I can kinda see why. I mean I don't get yelled at by my boss. She actually told me I'm on the...

If you can never live independently due to a physical disability, mental disorders or whatever else, and you'll need constant disability care. I'm not sure if this is me. I hope not because it's hard living with my mom..mainly because she has so much stuff and I can't get her to throw anything away...

I have seen some people who are so open-minded their brains have fallen out. They follow the crowd, even when it does the wrong thing, which is detrimental on many levels. Some people have no opinions about anything or any passions. This is sad. Sometimes that's actually closed-minded. I get what y...

I thought this girl at work (let's call her girl A) was a friend but I was wrong. There's this girl who we both know (call her girl B) but I wasn't keen on her because she flirted with my boyfriend before and I got paranoid, so I told girl A that I didn't like girl B, assuming and trusting that she...

I think some of my asociality is a defensive response to finding social interaction difficult. Like I said before I'm mostly a loner but I feel similar. When I actually do open up and people don't understand, I retreat back to my loner ways. It's too frustrating to try and find someone that actuall...

I don't know what counts as little because all these things are big to me but one is like I mentioned in the things that annoy you thread and that is judging someone in the way that if something is too unusual to experience it doesn't exist or you're delusional or whatever. On a similar note hypocri...

And that isn't even the worst part, it's the reasons they cite. Like how autistic people are useless soul-draining burdens that will ruin the life of the parents. As a former autistic child, I sincerely hope I didn't cause my parents too much trouble and that they don't regret me. This is a pretty ...

How do you deal with loneliness? Either when you are alone, or where you are surrounded by people who don't get you? Not very well lately. I'm kind of a loner and an introvert so I don't desire friendship in general but I do wish often to be with kindred spirits. I try to think on my own considerin...

"Saying sorry/thank you, saying "excuse me". I have to highlight these two. Sometimes saying sorry and thank you is important but I kinda agree with you. Thank you is probably the most overrated phrase. For instance they say you're supposed to write a thank you note after an intervie...

When they ask me how are you? If you're just some random person go off. You don't really want to know and I'm trying not to tell you because I know damn well I have a hard time saying I'm okay when I'm not but I know that's the answer you want to hear. I especially hate when they push..like if I don...
