I was fortunate in one sense that leaving home did not make me nervous. I left home on my 16th birthday with 10 pounds and a sleeping bag and pots and pans. I did share a room though, but luckily the other people in my room and flat were rarely in and neither was I. I left home because I did not wan...

Style hmmmm. Mines is pretty much anything I find comfortable and I feel like wearing, regardless to if they match. I like to consider my sense of style as " Offensive Chic " when people look at it and say " What on earth is she wearing and the colours are so ugly " In all honest...

I have 6 grown up kids of my own, and many time people would suggest i should work with kids. My reaction was " NOOOOOOO " I like my kids, I don't like other peoples kids. And I would receive a weird look from other people, who mostly thought I was joking. I don't mind other peoples kids a...

I think it depends where you post and who it resonates with most.

Since coming here I have only spoke to one male and the rest have been female, and in life I
have only close family and no friends.

Its more about who your opinions or posts interest.

@ Buyer Beware.

I really get what you said in your post.

I think I have some very similar ways and it has helped me raise 6 kids and keep most of my sanity intact.

As my kids tell me, I am an unconventional parent, but it works.

I hope this is the same case for your mother.
