I'd rather not be liked than people lie and pretend to like me. Plus some random person not liking me isn't gonna ruin my day, I have better things to worry about.

Pride = ego/arrogance. If you have a massive ego no one wants to know you because you're too full of yourself. Pride in a religious sense is just seen as a narcissistic trait that's a toxic emotion. Instead of saying "I'm proud of you" you should be saying I'm happy for you or you've done ...

So as to avoid polluting another member's thread any further, I feel it necessary to set the record straight here. When I say, "I do not care what other people think of me" this does NOT mean "I do not care about other people".   It only means that I not longer concern myself wi...

Can totally relate OP, we have a property we rent to people in south Manchester and they are exactly the same, they don't just use the bins like every other person they literally launch their rubbish into the alley way at the back where little kids play. The house is absolutely wrecked, they've ripp...

One of my best friends is an ex stripper from Ireland, I think if you're deciding to do this you need to understand the risks involved, she does all this online stuff too. Weigh the pros and cons up yourself on a list then make a decision. She says if you're gonna do it knowing the risks are the abs...

I agree with you Salad, glad that you are much happier too. I don't think you can ever totally get rid of the depression I think when you have it just you're stuck with it but you can definitely get rid of most of it like you've explained. Kind of like it has it's own gauge and the more you do the m...

With the way hard workers get treated in some work places, who can blame people for not working, especially those of us with high anxiety. My job was once a laid-back job. Now someone is going around deliberately being an as*hole and making the atmosphere tense for everyone. She goes out her way to...

They have empathy but it's only for themselves sadly. There was a study done a while back and one of the main psychologists on the subject thought she cured narcissism but nope, it only lasted for 3 months until they went back to their abusive ways. There are some good documentaries if you're intere...

Because religious people follow a set of rules that are easy to exploit. You can bring someone into the world but depending on their upbringing they may turn into a total psychopath but grew up going to church etc. When a psychopath is around genuine religious people who just want peace and harmony...
