I can't not walk fast, my husbands always shouting at me or grabbing my hand to slow down when we go shopping. I used to be a city girl though so I think it's just a habit.

Forum: Politics, Philosophy, and Religion   Topic: Why religious circumcision?

I didn't even know it was a religious thing. Most mothers I know get it done cause they don't want their kid to be the stinky pissy kid in school with all kinds of bacterial infections going on down there. I'm told that it's quite common for women to get infections going with an uncircumcised man so...

I haven't drank or smoked in years now, drinking was giving me some weird depression where I would go out on a weekend with friends and go to lots of different pubs etc but then for the entire week after I was like mega depressed to the point I struggled eating or getting out of bed so I stopped dri...

We had a big Palestine car rally when it was Eid, think there were 60+ cars with Palestine flags and smoke going around all of Yorkshire here. As you know I am married within an extremely large Pakistani family despite being whiter than mayonnaise so there was full support here from us. A lot of my ...

Slightly off topic, I have no idea who this muppet is but anyone who does incest deserves to rot in prison forever so good riddance. He just shames the autistic communities anyway. This whole incest thing is disgusting and it still goes on today with forced marriages and the kids they have end up ha...

In response to the original post I believe that any woman can be harassed by men, just because you're not favoured by men in the country/area you currently live doesn't mean they won't still attack you with vulgar rubbish that they usually do in another. Go to another country on a holiday or somethi...

I don't exactly feel amazingly intelligent but my pupil size has been referred to before by friends as "OMG ANIME EYES" sigh.

Eyes are weird. Especially all that stuff about men having hunter eyes basically makes them a male model? wut?

My husbands a nightmare to sleep with so can totally relate. He's slim/muscular but snores like an industrial drill, I've booked him in for sleep apnea appointments and they're gonna do surgery on his nose as it turns out he's not actually breathing properly at all, turns out that's why he was getti...

I'd rather not be liked than people lie and pretend to like me. Plus some random person not liking me isn't gonna ruin my day, I have better things to worry about.

Pride = ego/arrogance. If you have a massive ego no one wants to know you because you're too full of yourself. Pride in a religious sense is just seen as a narcissistic trait that's a toxic emotion. Instead of saying "I'm proud of you" you should be saying I'm happy for you or you've done ...

So as to avoid polluting another member's thread any further, I feel it necessary to set the record straight here. When I say, "I do not care what other people think of me" this does NOT mean "I do not care about other people".   It only means that I not longer concern myself wi...

Can totally relate OP, we have a property we rent to people in south Manchester and they are exactly the same, they don't just use the bins like every other person they literally launch their rubbish into the alley way at the back where little kids play. The house is absolutely wrecked, they've ripp...

One of my best friends is an ex stripper from Ireland, I think if you're deciding to do this you need to understand the risks involved, she does all this online stuff too. Weigh the pros and cons up yourself on a list then make a decision. She says if you're gonna do it knowing the risks are the abs...

I agree with you Salad, glad that you are much happier too. I don't think you can ever totally get rid of the depression I think when you have it just you're stuck with it but you can definitely get rid of most of it like you've explained. Kind of like it has it's own gauge and the more you do the m...
