The UK has seriously tightened-up it's criteria, and it's harder to get ESA and PIP respectively; the continent tend to have a better deal, as it were, with it all, and a much less-restrictive thing with it all.

its hard enough to get a child diagnosed unless they have developmental issues otherwise its like "tough".... which is stupid seeing as being diagnosed helps in a big way regardless of development problems. Adult diagnosis is somewhat pointless unless it impacts your life and is detriment...

A bit delayed - but yes, you have to have exhausted the local option, and Croydon Borough / CCG do have a local AS diagnostic service - which I think is located at the Bethlem, as is the local ADHD DX service.
