Id say just do what feels right. Im in the same boat as your gf and have the odd moment when I get pissed about not feeling emotionally supported. But then again I need hours of time alone so if I do go trying to spend a more 'normal' amount of time with my bf it soon becomes overwhelming. We have d...

You are worth more than this guy. I feel really sorry your suffering his selfish views on marriage. I think you should divorce him and just take your time to find someone who will love you for everything you are. Some people dont need sex to make them happy. If you stay in this toxic environment you...

It sounds as if you need an overhaul. I used to trash my life and start over every seven years, on average. I do that too! and it works lol my average is 6yrs and Ive just done it again recently right on cue but I feel a lot better after it. Forget about what happened before and begin again as if y...

I know you feel your not able to go for jobs that your either overqualified for or dont know how to do, but believe me its easy if you just accept that you need to facilitate your way to independance. Ive worked in all the scales of employment from dirt floor cleaner up to post grad professional. No...

Hi there, Im in the uk and I totally get what you are saying. I was diagnosed at 37 but it has taken me 3yrs really to be able to say Im done processing and going over all the crap Ive carried and gathered along the road of undiagnosed life. Its important to let yourself do this, be kind to yourself...

I have but over time Ive realised its just what it is. The main thing I dislike about this diagnosis is that you are deemed 'high functioning'.....I feel anything but at times. Its all very well knowing exactly how something works, how to strip it down and repair it but the reality of feeling totall...

I prefer post hardcore to metal. Hardcore punk has more of a relevant quality to it. I do listen to metal sometimes though; Slipknot, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Born of Osiris, System of a Down, Killswitch Engage, Deftones (if that counts), Amon Amarth, probably others that don't spring to mind...

I find that theres just so much info to take in, people overshare and it makes me think about all sorts of stuff about their lives that I shouldnt give two hoots about. I often end up stopping and re-grouping and asking myself why the hell am I even reading this shite. Its really all pointless becau...

Id like to add that I have 3 x girls and 1 boy all asd so the gender thing I dont think applies. Its just harder to see in girls so they are less likely diagnosed. Also if you know you need to work hard on teaching a child language etc then you can teach anything in my experience. My youngest has go...

I have 4/4 aspies but my last had extra probs with delays and speech issues so be very aware and make sure you take no crap from docs. Always work on early interventions because it makes so much difference if you spot and fix the probs as they come.

Good luck with everything and congratulations :)

Are you sure shes not autistic, and just totally unaware of it and its sensory challenges. That is what I feel when you write about her anyway. Has she ever been assessed?

I think its all very well thinking that you should aim for the grey by thinking it all over. But if you get caught up in that it becomes a nightmare of its own and you cant make decisions any longer. I think I was better off when I was more forcefully black n white. Im stuck in analysis paralysis pr...
