People forget the second half of that quote: The customer is always right in matters of taste . Basically, don't argue with them if they like something ugly. I thought I was the only one who remembered the whole quote (I say it to myself every time I hear someone else say it in public. :-) ) Thank ...

I read this: "1. The child on the autism spectrum often has difficulty organizing his thinking, planning and carrying out actions, and problem-solving. For example, he may struggle with breaking down an assignment into smaller pieces, or grasping the steps that need to be taken to complete a p...

If you have a co-worker that you suspect might be on the autism spectrum, is it ok to ask them if they are. I (person A) have a female co-worker (person B) who works in the call center where I've been for 9 1/2 years. She's (person B) been there almost 6 years longer. I'm about 13 years older than ...

I first met the word Transgender in around 2001. At that point I noted it was used very broadly to encompass many different conditions. Previously the terms I had seen were Transvestite and transexual, one related to dressing grooming and presentation and the other as a person having such a strong a...

I learned a lot this time last year taking part in Virology Live. This is the lecture from the course which covered evolution in viruses. The speed at which viruses reproduce combined with their simplicity makes them a powerful study tool. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3_o9gUGVcVo&list=PLGhmZX2N...
