when I was 8 years old, I wasn't okay. Everyone knew, but nobody cared or knew what to do. They forced me to keep going to school and traumatized me. Neglected me. Every day and night I cried and to this day everyone acts like it never happened and that it means nothing, like I should just stop and ...

I got a couple little journals, I’ve been meaning to start a gratitude or positive aspects journal. I’ve been arguing with myself about what the difference is and how I want to do it. Granted it's just what I decide to call it and it's what you make of it either way. But it does make a pretty big di...

Ugh same. I know I have had so much potential all these years but it's like there has just always been something missing. Like everyone else knows what's going on but I don't. School was just awful and pointless. I was forced to go. Today I had a meltdown because I have to go to an 8am appointment e...

I hear you 100%. The autism specialist I saw was a darn fool. They keep sending me to psychiatrists no matter how much I say I dont want meds. These people treat me like a dog. Now I'm in a psych rehab program which is the closest I've been so far to real help but it's not quite there yet. Unfortuna...

...your family always gets annoyed when going hiking with you because you're constantly stopping to look at insects, fungi, tracks, interesting plants, etc. (But isn't that supposed to be part of going on a nature walk? What's the point of going out to enjoy nature if you can't stop to look at it?)...

I've been wanting to go to my old room where I have lots of belongings stuck - it's been feeling like a huge burden. When I go there, I feel like I'm suffocating from all the energy/emotion attached to all the objects, and can only do so much to protect myself before coping itself becomes a point of...

It does bug me, because often it's said to invalidate autistic people.

If "everyone was a little autistic," we wouldn't feel so alone and face so many unique obstacles.

Sometimes they act stupid, so do we. I'm often frustrated with NT's behaviors and ways of thinking, and can't understand how any human being could do what they do, yeah. It all seems really pointless. Small talk, constant white lies, they're all a bunch of Jerry Seinfelds in this little world they m...

It should be highly customizable but not so much that it's confusing, cluttered, or overwhelming... allow separate layouts/structures for different tasks. Calendar/Planning tools, Journaling/Tracking tools, an "ID card" that says who you are and that you are autistic, which you can show to...
