He's obviously mentally ill and mentally ill people do strange things because (sometimes) their value system is screwed. In the hospital I was next to a guy who killed his mother, father and baby sister because he was given baked beans instead of a trip to McDonalds for his evening meal.

My brother did some work for the UN and one of his tasks was to fly out to Pakistan and teach a bunch of army guys there how to fix trucks. So, he arrives on the first day and he's introduced to twenty guys all sitting in neat rows ready to learn. For the next three weeks they cover everything about...

Not sure about AS but I carry the gene for Cystic Fybrosis so I decided not to have kids a long time ago. If everyone did the same as me (and quite a few are) then the disease would be wiped off the planet in two generations.

My memories of mental health treatment were a lot of kind people who understood my problems and were willing to work with me so that I could get back into society.

Yeah, my girlfriend and I did this last year. We had a damp patch in the ceiling of our toilet that was getting bigger so it was obvious that our neighbor upstairs had a leak, the only problem was that he didn't care so our only option was to go to law. The Hungarian legal system is slightly differe...

I did it a few times thirty years ago when I was young and foolish, now I'm old and wiser. Maybe there are safer ways to travel.

Here's another way of looking at the problem.

Muslim artists, carpenters and builders will always make a slight error when creating something. The reason for this is that according to Islam only Allah can create something perfect.

Then again. I've only once scored 100% in a test.

Well, I hope that you feel better having got all that off your chest. You're entitled to your viewpoint but then I'm entitled to disagree. You're probably right that AS is caused by genetics but then I'm a geologist so this isn't my chosed field. What CAN make a difference is they way someone is bro...

Well, in my case I had two clues:

1) People referred to me as "that bozo with the social skills of a baboon".

2) A close friend of mine told me that her daughter had died and I hadn't the faintest idea what to do.

There are of course other examples

Try an experiment. Next time you go to the mall wear a pair of sunglasses with a yellow tint, if that doesn't cure your nausea then try a pair with a blue tint. There's a possibility that this could be caused by the lights. The glasses don't need to be too dark, just enough to attenuate the light a ...

I think this was the reason why a lot of my previous relationships failed. It went something like: 1) Meet someone for the first time. 2) On ethe journey home start planning how you are going to spend the rest of your life with them. 3) Things (on my side anyway) get WAY too intense 4) Relationship ...

No, never have been and (probably) never will. I find approaching a woman and asking her out about as difficult as working out SQRT (PI) in roman numerals.
