I have it on order as 4k, with delivery expected at the end of December. Far too long to wait. :x

Apparently it's a great movie. Been meaning to watch it myself.

My experience is that they don't change over time if they're on the extreme end of the spectrum. Extreme cruelty or extreme passives doesn't seem to change over time and appears at a young age. The bullies in my school are still bullies now. There seems to be a generous amount of leeway if someone s...

Jamesy, have you thought about how good you might look with less of these empty carbs from alcohol considering you already work out a lot? Alcohol turns a nice "V" taper into a beer belly pretty quickly. You seem overly worried about physical attributes that are set in stone the moment so...

You're only 18. I'm sure your views will change as you become older and you begin to aquire more subatantial private property of your own. If/when you do you'll realise the importance of private property and the laws surrounding it. Countries that don't even respect private property rights are ones ...

Do people call others pedophiles (and other things) for no reason whatsoever? I’ve never seen that. I don’t know why someone, especially someone with anxiety, would want to be around people like that. It would probably make those without anxiety anxious. This is a tricky one. People do it from time...

Well yesterday my dad said that if he made me blind by the eclipse he would get 500 extra dollars a month in Social Security.I hated that sick demented joke that my dad made so he promised that if the eclipse made me legally blind I would get 75 percent of the estate after they die and I got it in ...

I think this thread is less of a debate about religious technicalities and more about the serious danger his father poses. For the people who might have missed some of the posts texas has made over the years, his dad is a very real danger to him. His hostilities include pointing a loaded gun at him,...

I think it should only be allowed with terminal illness that cause a lot of pain. People deciding to go down the euthanasia route because they feel like a burden on their friend and family is my biggest concern.

My regular takeaway has done its best to keep the price down which is good I have noticed in the pub on the card machine it comes up with a tip thing. But the bar person always cancels it off before you tap your card I don't think the staff are actually seeing this tip money too. That seems likely;...

Not quite the same thing, but what rattles my cage is the 'since the pandemic' increase in minimum spend needed for delivery +delivery charge,re the Chinese takeaway I use .It's not a large charge but (a) it wasn't done pre pandemic (b) it's about 10 minutes walk and <5 minutes via car, I'd guess(s...

Tipping culture is just a means by which to externalize some portion of the worker's wages. Nip it in the bud before it becomes more widespread. I don't think there would ever be an exception for minimum wage with hospitality workers, rather I think the establishments are just trying to rinse peopl...
