I don't know if there are biological differences between men and women when it comes to crying, but I know there are cultural ones. At least in Western cultures, it's more acceptable for women to cry than men, so men are likelier to put much more effort in to learning how to hold back tears, kinda l...

I need new glasses. Haven't gotten my eyes checked yet, but it's been six years since my last check (the recommended time period between checks is two years. Oops) and I feel like I need to be too close to the computer to see any text. The timing's good though; I can now get a free checking at the o...

Or go with someone who'll do even worse so no one will remember you.

I stopped counting how many times I've sung karaoke before I even reached adulthood, but have been singing more as an adult... it's been over a year since last time though since the events and other places I like to sing at have all been cancelled or closed due to covid.

But, personally, I really do think it's best, if possible, to nip a crush in the bud by turning one's attention to other things. It's highly unlikely that the person you have a crush on will also have a crush on you. So, to allow a crush to fester is to set oneself up for heartbreak. Or ask the per...

Since you taken a hyperbolical joke and . . . Threatening to use a firearm in a hypothetical situation stopped being a joke since mass murders became popular. Only in your "reality". From what I've seen, it's still a widely used joke, especially in those situations. Pretty popular even he...

But now that I think of it, when others are judging me it is the same concept. The main thing I am frustrated about is that once people run across a turn-off (be it appearance or anything else) they wouldn't care about my personlity. They will just assume its all negative because those few things a...

As funeralXempire said, having a crush isn't something you can control. What you do about it, like if you ask the guy out or not or follow him in social media or something, is, but that's another story. I don't know what kind of upbringing your parents had, but could it be that they have a different...

Pear juice.

I almost wrote "parrot" instead of "pear" and I have no idea why I always mix the words up in this context.

Why does "open" start with a closed circle, but "closed" starts with an open circle?

Here you used the word "if" a lot. You are basically say "if you know its X, then you can do Y". But do I really know its X? Thats a different question. If you read your previous reply you indicated yourself you don't really know. Basically I kept asking you "why do people ...

This being said, I still think you made a good point. Namely, I stand out from most people too. So why is it okay to judge her in her case, but its not okay to judge me in my case. I guess the difference is that what she did is deliberate while what I did is not. But of course the question is how w...

Anyone can have autistic traits and not clinically have autism. Yes, at least in official documents. Sometimes when a person checks a lot of boxes but not enough to get an actual diagnosis, there will simply be a mention done by the doctors in official documents of the person having "autistic ...

Now, speaking of the woman at the front desk she wears a minishirt, so she is not exactly the person I want to talk to. Because it wouldn't count as her seeing something in me as a person. Rather it would feel like she just wants to talk to every "dirty guy" that comes along, and since I ...
