I haven't posted on WP for a while but I am mostly getting out of social media and am not satisfied with my experience here (which was awful to be honest). I don't want my account anymore.

For some people it's not always possible to not take a job they have a chance of getting even if they know it won't be so nice. That's true for me. I have physical & mental disabilities besides my Aspergers that really limit me with employment. I've worked for some bad companies to work for but...

As the title says, don't waste your time with BS and crappy employers on a job search. If a place is constantly having "Now Hiring" signs out front chances are there's a good reason why they do if they are even serious on hiring anyone. Many places want someone who they can abuse and treat...

I find it weird for younger crowds to use those names as I find it incredibly old fashioned to say them, at least to other young adults. I think what you're really saying is: "I will not conform". It's quite common for someone your age, nowadays, unfortunately----and doubly common, it see...

I think the following behaviours are weird and I don't understand them: Saying things that aren't true. Offering food to others if you want to eat it yourself. Continuing to talk to someone after you have already said goodbye. Listening to music and movies super loud. What do you find weird about n...

I've lived all of my 63 years in northern states. Sir or Madam is perfectly acceptable between strangers, as in "excuse me sir, but I was in line and you stepped in front of me" or "Ma'am, did you decide what you want to order?" I would think it weird if someone I worked around ...

I know that this might be a trivial problem and, given the demeanor of a lot of posters on WP, make quite a few people mad but I am tired of people saying these words all the time. I live in a Northern state and this is considered rude in many cases to address people by sir or madam. Reasons: 1. It ...

This thread is confusing the s**t out of me xD I'm not American and have only been there once (in NYC) so I don't have first hand experience there, but I thought the Midwest was pretty liberal? I mean, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin have been pretty democratic for a long time. I though...

To make a long story short, most of my schools were bad. I've had some bad experiences with college as well.

I make fun of Trump so I guess we're even. Why would I care what Donald thinks anyways?

I would say that you should continue to write down what you're feeling as often as you can but maybe write in a journal. There are a lot of people online who get their jollies by bothering someone who is not in the best mood and/or think that a person doesn't have the right to complain about how th...

I'm going to be leaving this website. I have had too much of a negative experience on this website. There are many other websites for me to connect with those with mental disorders and mental conditions. I'll see you all later. I can't say I blame you for feeling this way. This site does seem to ha...

Meh... I don't think it's any better than say some of the northeast, but I would say both of them are definitely better than the south and midwest. I think the southwest (NV,AZ,CO,NM,UT, not necessarily texas which is confusing unto itself) is perhaps somewhere in between the west coast and midwest...
