moving won't solve anything. as others have already pointed out, big cities are always a mixed bag with all sorts of different people around. (I used to live in Calgary, which is considered a right wing city, but still managed to go to gay bars and meet many creative interesting people with all sort...

what a bizarre article, whoever heard of an autism-specific medication? did they confuse this with ADHD medications maybe?? also, I know I'm late to the party, but I'm also 44 and haven't been officially diagnosed with autism (though I realized I was autistic in my 20s). The reason for this is that ...

You can also use reputable programs that work with Windows to convert music from external websites such as YouTube. I think that is your safest bet.

yes, that would be ideal. have you used any of these yourself, that you would recommend?

That said I think a lot of music can be downloaded for a fee, or you can get a physical copy...weirdly CD's are falling out of favor but Vinyls have actually gained attention....so you could get a vinyl record of a band you like, but won't work unless you have record player so if you go that route ...

I do have a question. What happened to your google play music library when the app got discontinued? before it was discontinued, i saved all the tracks to my computer and then to the samsung music app. as far as I know, everything then got erased as the app seemingly disappeared ?? -- though I'm no...

I could talk about this at length, but I'll try to be brief: 1. Absolutely, yes, autism can be misdiagnosed as BPD, and I believe this is extremely common for autistic women especially. 2. BPD is in many ways a catch-all diagnosis, like fitting square/triangular/hexagonal pegs into a round hole, and...

having your life sorted doesn't mean doing the same thing with your life that others around you are doing. not everyone should be a parent, even if they are biologically capable, that doesn't mean that they have the skills required (or the financial means, though this doesn't stop many people). if y...

hi, I'm wondering if any audio peeps can advise me--I used to buy individual songs from services like Google Play and Samsung music, just to listen to on my phone. this is no longer available and I'm hoping to find a similar app. I don't know about apps like Spotify because I just want to buy specif...

I like 'Possession' by Sarah Mclachlan. some guy who was obsessed with her sent her letters saying what he'd like to do to her. she turned it into a song. he tried suing her, but then he killed himself.
true story and a great song. :skull:

I was on Celexa for about a decade but I'm not sure if it really helped much; I had more energy but I also felt that I was angrier. I also tried Effexor after I developed severe anxiety (usually depression is a bigger problem, but SNRIs target both); it definitely helped with my anxiety but I felt r...

I don't know what to do. I'm slow and make too many mistakes to be good for anything. Do any of you have jobs and if so, what are they and how long have you had them? I have many options for a career now but don't know what I'm really capable of. I don't have a full-time job, and I find a lot of th...

Sorry if this was already a post that I didn't see, but I saw quite a few mentions here and there of people on here who are asexual. I'm curious: how many of you identify as asexual? When did you first realize you were, or identify yourself as, asexual? Is asexuality more common in AS than in the g...

Have I ever. One girl I worked with said I was intimidating her and got me kicked off a project. I think I'm sort of a blank slate that people can project their feelings onto. Most of the time that works well for me, most people grossly overestimate my normalcy. Sometimes, my lack of expression and...
