I went to a local comedy show recently and the first comic was just transphobic. Didn't even try to mask it as a joke. Hearing the laughter from the audience was...lonely. I was glad that I hadn't invited my friend, whom is trans and was disowned by her parents. She's probably heard worse but it was...

I wonder if it's actually possible to meet someone IRL instead of on dating apps these days. And if so, where? I know someone who met her girlfriend in an art class. A friend of mine once suggested I show up to an LGBT bookshop and stand around looking confused, which uh, could be worth a shot at th...

I dreamt I was trapped in a "groundhog day" scenario where each day repeated itself with only minor variations. Oh I hate those! That's a reoccurring dream for me, amusingly enough. - I had a dream where I was on a dating show set in a grand mansion. The contestants were free to roam the ...

*Looks in mirror* *Looks in sketchbook* I really just can't figure out how to draw knees, can I? They're almost there. Collarbones are strange. The shoulders are improving though. How do arms even work? Why are elbows like that? Seriously it's all just art critique. I have no opinion about my ...

I think the concept of leagues just overcomplicates things. I mean, it's terribly subjective. You could try to quantify it in some capacity but there's just so many factors at play. Plus, why would you even want to? Not terribly romantic, is it? Sorry, I'm only a level 3 attractive, whereas you're a...

Today I was offered (and accepted) a job offer! 8) Oh wow, well done! Is it another temporary job or a permanent one, this time around? Well, it's another temporary job (five month contract). On the plus side, it took significantly less time to get back into work this time around. It's part-time wh...

I had a strange encounter on a dating app today. A couple, a man and a woman looking to bring someone into their open relationship, liked my profile. Sure, I'm used to that - but the thing is, the woman unmistakably looked like she could be a long lost sibling. :eew: Dude, I can tell you have a type...

In the US, people collecting unemployment after getting fired or laid-off are required to fill out a bit of apps in order to keep collecting their unemployment. I'm not sure what the required number is though. I've known people with health issues who intentionally applied for jobs they knew they wo...

Location is definitely something that holds me back. You need a car to get by here, which is something that I don't have yet. My last driving instructor definitely messed me about but I am learning faster with my new instructor. Once you get into the centre, it's easier to get to other places. While...

For those of you that are job hunting, how many online applications are you averaging a day? Personally, I usually apply for three to four jobs a day. My friend thinks I should be going for twenty a day, which seems insane to me. Whereas, my Jobcentre suggests six applications a day. I would like to...

AI art comes across as a solution to something that was never a problem. It's oversaturated. Being rammed into everything. Who even asked for it? I love independent animation because you can see the passion and joy that the animators have for the project. You see the team gradually improve each epis...

Today I learned that Fireman Sam was originally a Welsh show. I mean, I knew it was set in Wales but funnily enough I never considered the possibility. Turns out it originally aired on a Welsh network in the Welsh language. Makes sense, it does sound better in Welsh in my opinion. https://youtu.be/1...

As a teenager, yes.

As an adult, no.

However, not due to any conditions.
