If you can see through your curtains, so can other people. That's usually a good way to tell if people can see through your curtains.

I also have found I'm strangely good at public speaking. However, it only really works with things I care about and I can only really improvise. I can't write a speech and memorize it. People have told me that when I speak it really resonates with them, but I just feel like I'm ranting pointlessly.

I mask a lot and so lot of the time I feel like I come off as dumb and ditsy. It's not like I can stop though because it's the only way I can really get by decently as my high school's rather intolerant overall. I feel like the people around me never really take me seriously, even when I'm trying to...

I always have that feeling, especially at school. You just start noticing how people seem to go out of their way not to talk to you or hang out with you, just all of your friends. I think I seem pretty normal, but I know that people can always tell something's off about me.

Chinese food or pierogies for me. I could eat nothing but those two foods and never get sick of them.

From my experience, about half of them are as*holes but about half of them can be either decent people or downright sweethearts. I've found you can usually base it upon how respectful they are in class and whether they seem to take school seriously or not. Also, there are some rather nerdy jocks out...

Well it probably would've been much worse for you to pretend you're something you're really not. It's best in the long run for you to be what you really are inside.

I've tried to drink many, many times but I hate the taste of alcohol and can only tolerate really fruity, prissy drinks. I've never really tried anything else, but I'm rather afraid to be in any sort of altered state of because I'm afraid of what I might do.

I don't see it so much as materialism, but more so a hobby or simply enjoying a particular method of expressing yourself! Fashion is really just another way to express your creativity! I also love fashion and probably own way too many clothes, lol.

For a couple of years I thought I was strictly lesbian, but after a while I started to realize I was actually bisexual. It caused some confusion with my family, and I don't think my mom and stepdad completely get it yet, but most people were accepting of this new realization as well.

I find that I'm very much a night owl. I can't get myself to go to bed any earlier than 11. I usually like staying up until 12, which isn't a very good idea during the school year as I have to get up at 5:30 every morning lol.

As someone who can blend enough to achieve the rank of "slightly above invisible" and has a decent amount of people who seem to like being around me, it hurts a lot and I can get pretty jealous. I can only achieve just barely the average level of social normality, and it hurts a lot knowin...

I use my makeup as sort of a shield I guess. I don't really feel safe when I leave the house without it. I love the "no makeup" makeup look, so even though I do my full face, I don't really do much for my eyes besides a quick dusting of bronzer and some mascara. I really love getting done ...

Yeah, my mother never really wanted to talk about anything involving autism in the past, even as I was starting to accept myself for being on the spectrum. But as soon as she started seeing these TED talks done by kids with autism and all, suddenly she sees it as a great opportunity for me to collec...

When I'm alone I look at the ground but when I'm around other people I just kind of blankly stare off into the distance. I guess maybe it's to try to see a little more "normal"?
