I enjoyed that series.
Though it was a bit of a tear-jerker, and I wished they'd concentrated more on the unravelling of clues about the deceased persons instead of diverting into character relationships and emotional stuff.

The flaw in Dox47's argument is that he is taking prices to be fixed. If the minimum wage rose, that would apply to all small businesses, hence all would need to raise their prices to avoid going out of business. So businesses such as cafes, hairdressers, small retailers and so on would need to char...

I side with the kid in terms of defending his sibling, but not with the language he used.
As others have indicated, if the mother does not pull him up for that kind of language, she's an enabler.
Correcting the kid on his language is not the same as siding with the pestering woman and against him.

Well, you could say that eating contributes to diabetes...
But seriously, no. A healthy diet for diabetics usually includes lean meat, together with plenty of vegetables.

Meat is very good for the health.
Just go for good quality, ethical sources, and eat small quantities.
Avoid the processed stuff, like hot dog sausages, those are toxic.

That's a good point.
I also believe that narcissistic traits are inherent in human populations for good reason.
Autistic traits also, though the reasons are different.
It's all about nature maintaining a balance.

[i] Impaired Immune Response due to Over-vaccination A characteristic of the elderly is an impaired ability to mount antibodies against new pathogenic threats, and this is reflected in a failure to generate protective antibodies in response to vaccination. It has been demonstrated in experiments wi...

vaccines transiently suppresses the immune system This is congruent to what I saw just looking in VAERS. (If anyone wants to look, it's a public database). There seems to be a trend of people dying of break through infection right around the 2 month mark after vaccination (roughly one to three mont...

Soon after the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines, stories began to emerge that some people were experiencing changes to their menstrual cycles after getting vaccinated. For a long time, this did not get much media attention, and numerous medical experts continued to assure the public that the COVID-19 v...

[my earnings have slipped in value due to the irresponsible handouts and printing of money. Larger numbers aren't the answer. I wouldn't call raising the minimum wage irresponsible handouts and printing of money. If done thoughtfully, it can be more about fairness and wealth distribution. And allow...

I'm glad the Queen has seen sense.
But I can't see the lawsuit going anywhere, can you?
I doubt that Andrew was involved enough in what was going on to know that the girl was being trafficked, it's not as if Epstein and Maxwell would have been telling everybody what they were up to.

Why would "you dumb f**k" be any better?
No way would I be OK if my child had said "b***h" or "dumb f**k" or anything like that.
Kids are capable of learning how to tell someone to back off without using insulting language.

I think narcissists are playing a kind of double blind game, where they fool themselves as well as others. They have an unstable sense of self which requires external validation. When they don't receive that, they take actions to prop up their self-esteem by ensuring they are always in control and d...

Come to think of it, how do we know her parents weren't up to the same shenanigans when she was at high school? At the least they might have bought her some additional tutoring and special attention from the teachers. That approach is fine at school, but by the time you get to university you need to...
