Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, that is really interesting and helpful. Do you mind if I ask some more questions? I do think that some of the information I have read on stigma may be out of date, and things may be changing rapidly, and your reply suggests that may be so. One thing I ...

Generational trauma isn’t real.

You seem very certain of that. How can you be sure?

To clarify, I'm not saying people can inherit PTSD. It's more about inheriting epigentic changes that get switched on by PTSD.

If he feels there is pressure on him to go, he may feel too much anxiety and be unable. Then, after you've g...

I've put myself on a liquid diet to try and clear up gut issues.
Lots of broth from meat and veggies, some fruit juice, milk.
I hadn't intended including milk but got so hungry.
I think this kind of diet is only OK for 3-5 days max. as it doesn't provide enough nutrients. Bit of a last resort.

Very sad.

It is a huge problem for those of us on the spectrum that medical professionals may not understand how we present when suffering health issues.

I looked up about pogroms and we can count those. Displacement due to violence.
It's shocking how much hatred there was towards Jews for such a long time.

I think the radiation blew westwards (?)

I think, if he's living in your house, using your electricity, water, food, etc. then you do have the right to know what he is doing. He only gets the right to control his own life when he truly becomes independent. I'm not unsympathetic, I have my adult son living with me and have similar issues wi...

That's interesting! Especially that your father was assessed by Dr Asperger. To try and answer some of your questions: I'm taking this as far back as great-grandparents, the reason for this is that a preliminary study (in mice) indicates that autistic traits triggered by epigenetic changes can be in...

I think things may be changing in South Korea. I've never been there, so can't be sure, but recent studies have shown sky-high rates of autism there. And there've been a lot of good series out of Korea with autistic characters: The Good Doctor (original series) Move to Heaven Extraordinary Attorney Wu

Many thanks for the replies. Belijojo, your response is in agreement with what I have been reading. Not just in mainland China but in Taiwan and Hong Kong too, autism prevalence rates used to be very low because only the most severely affected and those with intellectual disability were getting diag...
