It's especially hard for children when traumatic treatment is normalized and/or caused by their primary caregivers or support system of teachers, relatives, etc. and they don't experience life in any other way to know the difference. Sometimes kids are subject to neglect, abandonment, or physical an... |

I didn't have a clue with some of mine, because I took their BS at face value. When I spoke up I was gaslit and told I was wrong, or that it was my fault. Sometimes I didn't speak up at all but blamed myself anyway. I knew my violent trauma was traumatic because it was violent. Even then, I kind of ... |

Also, as someone who doesn't date women, abusive and manipulative women aren't something I have a great deal of experience dealing with. For what it's worth I have a great deal of experience with abusive and manipulative people of all genders but my responses weren't based on that history, and my e... |

To be fair I should remove the word "many" from my post that you quoted. I haven't come across many women who seem to fake it. I didn't mean that they fake it in a malicious way, either. I was also referring to all forms of neurodiversity and not just autism. Could you please clarify what ... |

I forgot to add that I had very extreme Strep Throat in 2011 for over a month. It wasn't responding to any treatment. I think it was one of those super bugs from back then. |

When I was young I got pneumonia or bronchitis once a year in October, like clockwork. It turns out I was allergic to the dead plants rotting and my body couldn't fight the bacteria. I had to take allergy needle injections once a week for about 20 years and even go to a respiratory clinic regularly ... |

Hi and welcome to WP. Congrats on getting the answer to your diagnostic question even if it's been causing you some stress. My own burnouts are hard to quantify. My biggest one came over ten years ago when I left work on permanent disability because I just couldn't function anymore. Truth be told, I... |

I saw this thread when I was off on my break and nearly coughed up a lung. I think I might have mentioned it to you at the time as the only thread that was catching my eye. I'd forgotten to revisit it. I agree with you that there's a significant imbalance in the way empathy is demonstrated to people... |

^^ Also, if a women is uncomfortable or creeped out on Reddit, WP, or elsewhere, no one ever seems to care. The poor guy is a victim for making her feel uncomfortable. If people gave a damn about how women feel, they might have more success with them. Seriously. https://i.postimg.cc/Pr6V5X1r/winner... |

I think it's creepy that he assumes girls can only be included or excluded from groups based on their fkkability. Beyond the fact he's being highly inappropriate by thinking about sex and his own pecker when looking at students, it shows he's pretty thick. Perhaps it was just probability that she wa... |

I didn't read it that way. I thought she meant some men might seem autistic because of social awkwardness, nerdiness, loneliness, or trouble with emotional expression etc., but they might actually be faking it (or their parents bought a weak diagnosis). I thought she meant it wasn't fair to women i... |
