Yes he did, and he loved it. He's hoping to retire there now, rather than Philippines.
Unfortunately he lost his eyesight two or three days after returning home.
Now the entire future has been turned on its head.

Well, I've done about 1/3 of the first task on my list but I've yet to clean up from doing it.
About 55 and 2/3 tasks yet to go.

If you do visit for the first time then Singapore is probably place to get a taste of South East Asia as it's high tech, clean and developed on par with the Asian tigers (South Korea, Taiwan and Japan). Then it's a hop, step and a jump to the shores of Australia which is merely a few hours away. My...

Bali is in Indonesia—but the people aren’t Muslim there, and the government isn’t influential. It’s a whole different place than Jakarta, Java. And you can get luxurious accommodations for really cheap. I know -- I know people who went to Bali and the pictures were beautiful. I'm not blaming Islam,...

I'm an autistic partner to an NT, but we don't live together. It will be our three year anniversary on NYE. I know from experience I can't live with other people because I need my space. I love staying at his place, or having him here, but I won't cohabitate. I'm not sure what I can add to the convo...

I hate that last-minute stuff!

I can imagine what it will entail.

I hope you can find a way to just "straighten up" without a deep cleanup.

It needs tidying as well as deep-cleaning.
The dreaded double-whammy.
It'll be about 8 hours of work overnight.

Hence my procrastination online.
Whoops.

Psych 100 was always an exception to class size, since nearly everyone had to take it. TAs graded everything in all my classes in UG, but with supervision of course. I don't know why people are so fascinated with going to Asia, with all the crazy politics. Between the overpopulation and the risk of ...

In truth, I don't believe in euthanasia unless one has an incurable illness, and is in a massive amount of pain. 17-year-old kids who want to "end it all" after breaking up with a boyfriend/girlfriend do not qualify for euthanasia, in my book. They don't qualify for euthanasia in anyone's...

Intro classes, survey classes, and prerequisites were always the worst. Psych 100 was brutal. I had about 1500 students in my class. Every exam was multiple choice, so TAs could grade quickly. I suck at multiple choice because of my autistic brain (micro-analysis). I had a long-distance boyfriend fo...
