I didn't get mine cut from late 2019 until March of 2024.
Even then, I only did it because I was going to a funeral and didn't want to look like Cousin It.

I generally trim my own or get my daughter to do it because I hate salons.

I’ve experienced plenty of strange, one-off behavior from men I don’t know well that baffles me, but I won’t go into that here. Hell yeah. I'm not suggesting men can't be baffling, or that all women are a problem. Women can still be great people whether I understand them or not. I feel more awkward...

I don't mind the hair washing part. It's nice for sensory reasons. It feels good, the water sprayer thing is always a perfect temperature, and they use high-end conditioners that make my hair really shiny. The best part is that you don't have to watch it happening in a mirror like the haircutting pa...

I don't remember getting lost, but I got forgotten. I had tap dance lessons and my mother forgot to pick me up. The building was closing was for the night and I was embarrassed / ashamed to tell anyone my mother had forgotten me, so I hid under the stairwell by a red exit sign. I was about eight. I ...

OMG I had dry socket too, with four wisdom teeth. I agree dental pain is the worst pain imaginable. I wish you well with the procedure. It sounds like you have a good dentist and good support at home. Make sure they give you something for pain afterward, and have a followup appointment pre-booked ju...

It happened to me today. I was driving in a very familiar place but got to an intersection and freaked out because I had no idea where I was. It all looked so odd, I might have been in another country. I kept asking my daughter "Where are we?! Where are we?!" and she told me, but even when...

In real life I have a photo of my brother and cousin with a yellow bicycle from 1970. It's the kind with the long front (not sure what to call them). In my dream I was an adult but I was riding that bike on a street not far from my house, behind my kids' primary school. It's a rich area which backs ...

I think I tend to have a harder time understanding men because they are socialized to be more guarded when it comes to expressing their emotions whereas women are often more open about that stuff. I was referring to people I don't know well, who don't express their emotions to me. The teenaged girl...

I found my old pair of purple, single-vision reading glasses which I've been looking for since November.
They were in the glasses case in my drawer where I keep old glasses.
Go figure.
