I am an NT obsessed with autism. I had a crush on a boy in my class in middle school since he behaves very differently, so I recorded everything I observed about him in my diary. I don't know about autism back then, but now I think ASD would perfectly explain everything in the diary. (I never discus...

Me! (if you're talking about Friendship is Magic)
My favorite used to be Applejack but she kinda lacks character development, so I prefer Fluttershy now :D

Definitely. Recently the daytime has become somewhat too exciting, so it becomes that I can only focus when night falls :(
It's also the time for college application, so yeh I tend to stay up late to finish my tasks.

I'm neurotypical but a quite weird one. I really want to makes friends with people at my age who is on the spectrum, so please allow me to reply here ;) I've been researching autism as my special interest for quite a few years, so I guess I'll "understand more than people at school do" ? I...

I'm 17 and for quite a while I also felt quite apathetic. I didn't exactly walk out of it myself. Parents and teachers will discover your change sooner or later, and the stress they press naturally gets you out of the situation. Even though stress is a negative thing, but if you really want to gain ...

Only when the crowd isn't sweaty! The noise of a crowd, in certain restaurants for example, helps me concentrate sometimes.

Which part do you like best about WrongPlanet?

And friends get angry towards each others a lot. Or almost not at all. I can't recall a single time my best friend was angry towards me or I was angry towards him. Of course I don't mean to deny the fact that friends can get angry towards each other. But there are also cases like my best friend and...

Hi I'm 16. I'm from China and I'm neurotypical, but I have certain Aspie traits. I have special interest on researching about autism, analyzing others' behaviors. I easily get passionate about things. But the most long term passion is on autism. I started researching on it four years ago, and it sur...

This is really weird. Me and my friends talk really a lot. Yeh some of the times I send problems to them and they feel like they can't solve it and they'll ignore me. I do so some of the times too. But most of the times they really help a lot. I have a friend who has a weird sense of humor which I c...

For some reason, my favorite fictional characters seem to be cats, and Siamese cats are a particular favorite. I love Tao from The Incredible Journey and D.C. from That Darn Cat. Both were played by Syn-Cat, named by Walt Disney because he synchronized perfectly (PURR-fectly) with everything. I als...

I always get over obsessive over fictional characters! I think this happens on everyone... At least me and my best friends, who are all neurotypical. Weeks ago I was over obsessive with Scootaloo in My Little Ponies , and before that I was over obsessive with Nightbeat in Transformers . And I am alw...

1. They talk about the weather all the friggin' time...it's ridiculous. I understand weather is a special interest for some autistics, but I'm talking specifically about the superficial way NTs discuss the weather. What exactly is the rationale for constantly pointing out that it's hot or cold or t...

HI! NTs without sensory processing disorder! Do you happen to have over-sensitivity to sound? Like, you can listen to a song in the daytime and that's OK, but in the evening the same song, even when listened to in the quietest mode, hurts your ears? Or do you walk in your tiptoes when barefoot or i...

I'm so glad this thread is still here!! ! I haven't been on here in years. But I had to come back because I have a question. NTs, do you stim when drunk??? I say because whenever I am drunk, I cannot stop like rubbing my legs etc. Do NTs get the urge to just start doing a repeating action because i...

By the way, like what is described in my profile, I am neurotypical. My talents work in the neurodiverese way yet my perception is very neurotypical. To be specific, I get very absorbed in my talents and hobbies, and when I get into something really interesting I will ignore everything else. Yet I h...
