Much of this anti vax stuff is centred around the number of vaccines given in US in early life causing autism. Other countries have a much higher rate of autism, with hardly any vaccines given compared to US so the theory is nonsense. Looks like Qatar has the highest rate 151.20 per 10,000, Libya ha... |

That makes sense. It's also a bit confusing, because there is Unspecified Neurodevelopmental Disorder that shares some similarities with Autism Spectrum Disorder, but not meeting full-diagnostic criteria. That's why its a disorder - "Unspecified Neurodevelopmental Disorde r" That's the di... |

Broad Autism Phenotype is a collection of autistic traits, but not meeting full-diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder. BAP is a personality type whereas autism is an impairment that is the difference. Those with BAP lead relatively normal lives but may have nerdy interests for example. The DSM traits making autism are all impairments effecting functioning Some people can mitigate those impairments if they have cert... |

I posted this thread on the 8th of November, two days after the election. The fact that Trump won, a man who already linked vaccines & autism (see CNN rep debate clip) has now appointed RFK the leading anti vax "because it causes autism" person there is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... |

Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil. -- Thomas Mann That means it's Rogan or me, and I'm sorry to say that right now it appears to be me. Carlos, I pity you. I very much hope that when you step out from behind your keyboard, your stubbornness does not get you into trouble. Cornflake, you... |

This is not about differing political views. It's about whether someone is expressing a legitimate viewpoint, or whether they're just trying to provoke conflict and create division and confusion Again you miss the point, unlike Tommy Robinson, he`s in control so his views cannot be ignored, you may... |

Is this a safe space for autistic people? The world is a dangerous place for autistic people. The Internet is arguably worse. Autistic people are vulnerable. We are routinely bullied, othered, excluded. We come in here desperately looking for somewhere we feel safe, somewhere we belong. Can content... |

I agree it was a long video that would put off many people. I was simply making a point that we may see big changes in the autism world under a Trump presidency, given RFK`s involvement and Trump`s seemingly going along with his plans. What i or anyone thinks about it is irrelevant I agree censorshi... |

I believe although Joe Rogan interviewed Trump and later claimed he voted for him as the lesser of two bad choices, since he had no confidence in kamala, he also said he`s a natural Bernie Sanders supporter and now politically homeless. As far as RFK is concerned, he`s a natural democrat who only jo... |

Still remember my old history high school lessons, i had an intense interest in modern history at the time. Most likely, we'd be repurposing things that are needed to deal with adults with dementia. Sure, there are differences, but a good chunk of the things that would be helpful for autistic adults already have to be developed for the elderly anyways. Plus, if the population really does start to drop in... |

Watching Joe Rogan interview It's a Joe Rogan interview. Please stop normalising this stuff. Thank you. Maybe you missed my point in one of my paragrahs:- Trump referred to the means, the means are connected to RFK Jr. RFK Jr is one of the big 3 in the administration. Trump, Musk , RFK Jr. They hav... |
