Of course there is the jab in the backside they do in psychiatric hospitals, although you need a team of strongmen on call to do this.

Its a great direction but unlikely unfortunatly.

The world has changed greatly since the web went mainstream in the late 90`s. Most gov now want greater control over it and censorship is real.

I suppose there needs to be a debate on what methods should be used to control near adult sized people that are violent and out of control? Its all very well saying calming and speaking but is that always effective? There are drugs of course, mostly antipsychotic medication where the side effects ar...

I find life with autism so bloody confusing. I know lots of people and they hate me, even though I'm always nice. Why is that? They look at me like I'm diseased and want nothing to do me. Even my own dad hates me. My mum is gone, I miss her so much, she was the only person who understood me. No one...

makes sense, glad that there is no longer hue and cry over "explosion of autism" but better understanding of it being rightfully credited for more diagnoses. Now if they would look for diagnosis among adults who never got diagnosed as children (those of us born before DSM description was ...

I seem to have some ideas and research material noone even wants to ask me about that may provide some better clues about autism. I stumbled across a few things I found interesting based on reading a few things about my family history and a few things related to Hans Asperger's observations of auti...

Autism is not a single "disorder." It is a general category of at least hundreds, maybe thousands, of different conditions, with certain general kinds of traits in common. There are at least hundreds, maybe thousands, of different genetic variations that correlate with autism. Only a smal...

Why spend money on dealing with coping strategies when the disorder can be understood and hopefully erased entirely in the future? Autism is not a single "disorder." It is a general category of at least hundreds, maybe thousands, of different conditions, with certain general kinds of trai...

This is intended as a safe space for folks to vent their rage at China and its Communist Party. BTW if you believe there should be an apostrophe in the title, you haven't done your research! Isnt promoting hatred for a country & its people racist. If you hate the CCP, then label your post as such

Nope....this doesn't sound like regressive autism to me. It sounds like you were sensitive to your environment, and reacted accordingly. Well if I didn't react like that then I probably would have been just like 99% of girls with mild/high-functioning Asperger's and have not have been diagnosed in ...

Autism is not a real diagnosis of someone’s condition anyway. Autism itself is just a 1940s umbrella term to label those with a condition science didn’t and still doesn’t understand. They have to give it a name and so the condition autism/ Aspergers was born. The reality is there’s multiple autism’s...

Sounds a good idea, the issue is autism is heterogeneous, so what may work on someone may not work on another person, which is why autism research is such a mess, because the bar for anything to be seen to work, has to work on all autistic people, or it statistically fails to hit the mark. From som...

Who gave them authority to speak for 150 million people? Nobody did. A few thousands of autistics who oppose cure have gathered worldwide and started the Autistic Community. Autistics who support cure are only a small minority, but they do have their own movement, called "Autistic Dark Web&quo...

Bumetanide, folinic acid, carnitine, NAC & Atorvastatin and a few more i`ve read can possibly help certain autism sub types. So Dr`s should allow people access to these for example to see if it has a positive effect on them. They already take this approach with psychiatric drugs, if a patient ha...
