I am struggling with exams and they're kind of making my mental illness act up. What is not helping is a previous psychiatrist appointment I had that stirred everything up and where I got told I have traits of BPD, a hard mental illness to treat and I could not know if I have the full disorder until...

Hi again, just needed to vent :'). I recently went on antidepressants because of suicidal thoughts that were starting to scare me as I found myself constantly fantasising about death. I cry so much less now, I don't feel like I will burst from emotion like I did before and just in general am less di...

I always had to take SSRI in the mornings, regardless of what the label advised. Otherwise I couldn't sleep. I'm glad you're seeing your doctor again! Good luck Ivpin!! ! ! (By the way, you might want to ask about a referral to OT for the Interoception issues?) Oh I might try that. They decided to ...

((((((((((( IVPIN ))))))))))))) :( :( :( :( :( :( I'm sorry to hear what you're experiencing. It's wonderful that you've had some emotional breakthroughs, and that you feel well apart from the food and body issue. I hope you will be clear with your doctor about this effect. It could be just increas...

Sorry to hear what’s been happening with the binge eating, Iv. My heart genuinely goes out to you. It’s fairly easy to pinpoint the cause of binge eating disorders, but I’m wondering if you’ve been offered any guided self-help programmes or CBT in conjunction with the Prozac. In your case, I’m thin...

I started taking antidepressants about a month ago and while some stuff got worse, I was still really happy with how things were going. There are positives, what I'm on has basically killed my anxiety which has made my thinking so much clearer and it improved my energy by a lot which allows me to st...

I started taking fluoxetine two weeks ago and in that time I've lost 2kg. I haven't had any change really in my appetite and didn't get nausea or any physical side effects except for getting heartburn if I don't drink loads of water when I take it. I'm taking it for bulimic symptoms, anxiety and rec...

First of all I don't want to trigger anything in anyone so if me writing about this could, please don't read it. So basically TW: disordered eating + self harm I started taking prozac and my anxiety is definitely better, and I have more energy. However, as the chaotic mental illness has faded, a wei...

Hi Iv - when I went on fluoxetine (currently still am and hope to be on it forevermore), I had some pretty unsettling side effects initially and even then for some months after. The first thing I noticed, was that it made me emotional, tearing up easily. I also became incredibly wiped out. Even now...

I just started on fluoxetine two days ago and so far haven't experienced anything except for some indigestion. Ik there can be other side effects and things can get worse before I feel better but by which point would that usually happen? I couldn't find anything really. Basically, will it take more ...

You probably were heading towards a meltdown but if you are able to take some time to yourself now it should help. Definitely rest up, sleep when you can and try to shut out the outside world for a bit. I hope you feel better soon

I got vaccinated recently and it was fine. Jut got a headache and felt a tiny bit off but no more than I would for a cold. My arm was also for like a day but it felt like the sort of ache you get when you exercise so nothing too crazy.

It seems like everyone thinks I'm rude but none of them can ever explain how I am rude in what way. It's like people are willing to toss that label on me but have no explanation why and no reason which I find strange. Does this happen to anyone else? People don't necessarily think I am rude but rat...
